phoca download with joomla 1.6

Hi everybody!

I start a new website using Joomla 1.6. I made some test using Phoca Download and it looks from my tests and from reading the forum that it is still to soon.

Did I mis something, is there already any way to use this componenent from the frontend? (just to allow the web site user to donload a file)

If not, any rough idea of a delay until it could be ready?

Of Course this is possible. Just create a menu link (List Of Categories (Categories View)) to Phoca Download Component.
