Missing Parameter Button

After uploading photos to the Joomla website, the thumbnails are not showing up and I found that they are disabled. This forum, and the message on the page says to go to PHoca Gallery-Control Panel-Paremeters. However, there is no paremeters button. (I read another post and saw a screen shot of where this button should appear, so I know it's not just a matter of looking in the wrong spot).

From reading several posts on this forum, I find that it could be one of 2 things-my 'role' on the site; or missing a component of PhocaGallery.
1. I read in a different post that I have to be a super administrator to have that capability. However, in Site-User Manager, I am only an administrator. If I select the Group Super Administrator, nothing shows up. I also tried to add myself as another user, giving myself the Super Administrator role, but that did not work.
2. I also tried re-downloading all of the components of PHoca Gallery, but it came as a zip file and was not sure what to do. I did transfer all of the files onto my PC, but that did not do anything.

Also, under Phoca Gallery-Users, should my name appear there? I don't see a way to do that.

Please help, I am running out of ideas!

But if you are not able to display the parameters button there is another place to do all this Phoca Gallery Settings.

On Phoca Version 4.1.1. there isn't a Parameter Button. I managed change the settings to Phoca with out any problems. This is how I did it. 1. Click Components menu. 2. Click Phoca Gallery. 3 Click on Control Panel. 4. Underneath the Joomla logo showing at the top right of the page is a 'gear wheel' next to the word 'options', click on that. Everything I need for Phoca display configuration is there.

yes, since Joomla! v1.6 'Parameters' are renamed to 'Options'.
