Open file in new browser window

Hi,

Look at this link.

There is a file called ssc_winter_series_2010.mht - Now when you either click on this file name directly or use the download button and you select 'Open' it must display the file contents in a new browser window, similar to _blank. Where do I set it to open in a new browser window.

I did see some discussions on the forum about opening a file in a new window, but it was in German I believe and did not fully understand it

Hi, for now there is no such option, you can:

a) download it directly
b) open detail window in standard browsers

If you need to have popup box, this needs to be customized in the code, e.g. you will set openning the window but add some javascript to open the window in popup (but I have no more advices for this as I didn't check it yet )

Thanks for the update.

As I need this function, I had to start using another package - its sad because I liked the way I could intergrate 'downloads' into my site.
