Hi
Firstly thank you for a WONDERFUL product - i mean stunning
One issue only that i have ran into
PDF Previews
They were showing a blank white lightbox on opening, and then a message/error popup with an ok button - but empty no error nothing, just Adobe as the title of the message popup, and an ok button and a blank spaec where error should be, behind which i could see a blank white lightbox preview
Same in ie8 (running windows 7 64bit)
I downloaded latest version of adobe reader and installed (i have adobe acrobat on my machine)
Since then ie8 seems to show previews of pdfs
However chrome still not showing
Just to double check i get the same issue in chrome when checking your your demowithpreview for Phoca Download on your site - so i know its not some conflicting extension etc on the site
Chrome is pretty much, if not the, latest browser as only started ever using chrome this month
So either something going on with my machine security / etc or some conflict with phoca download preview and chrome
I think it worked on my win7 laptop in chrome, slightly older chrome install on that, but only slightly
Much appreciate any help to get rid of white boxes (that popup nothsowing any more just empty white lightbox where the pdf preview should be)
THanks guys
Olly

Re: pdf chrome problem
Thanks for taking time to reply and take screenshots much appreciated
However, as mentioned in my OP, on my laptop, it also worked for me (which is also running 64bit win7 and tried with chrome/safari/ie/opera/firefox)
I'm just trying to work out why its not working in chrome only on my desktop install
I have double checked my firewall settings of chrome, and its got complete access that it should have
But for some reason the lightbox stays blank not loading the pdf - and i get this blank error, will take a screenshot and post it
I have never seen an error thats blank before (ie error message window popup with an OK button but no text, and the window title being Adobe) - if i could read the error it would help
Also went into joomla debug mode but it didnt pick anything up
The only thing is i can think of, that the install of phoca download somewhere as a tiny line of code, that interferes with another bit of code in my template (rockettheme panacea), and that such a conflict is picked up only by chrome - but then we go back to why its working on other machines just not this one)
I would say hey at least i know its working, but i dont want any site user to experience the same issue, however uncommon, without at least giving instructions to them on how to bypass the issue.
How can i find the source to this problem?
Thanks ocne again mate

Re: pdf chrome problem
Hi, yes it is really hard to say where can be the problem, I think this will be more browser/pdf/javascript engine problem than some problem on server (joomla, phoca pdf, template)
But there can be a combination of differnt settings (server + PC + browser) problematic, so really hard to say where to find the problem
