Missing pagination controls in Download component

Evening, All.

I'm a long-time user of Phoca components (Gallery and download, mainly) but this is the first time I've needed to ask for help.

I have an installation of Phoca Download and the Download Tree module on Joomla! - all are the latest versions at the time of this post.

My intention is to use the tree module only (ie no menu 'download') but this method results in no pagination controls being displayed when I show the list of files in a category (method: select the tree module section, then category - page body refreshes with file list).

However, when I include a menu item (Phoca download section), the pagination is correctly displayed whether I click the category from the menu or the tree module.

All pagination options I can find are set to 'on', so I'm kinda stumped. Anybody have any ideas?

I would prefer to have the tree module visible WITHOUT any menu link to the module. I do not have SEF enabled. However, if I remove the menu, the pagination controls disappear, also.

hide the Menu link:

Example:

You have installed Phoca Gallery component and Phoca Gallery plugin. You want, your Phoca Gallery plugin will create SEF links to Phoca Gallery component correctly but you don't want to display the menu link to Phoca Gallery component - e.g. to Categories View. So you will go to Menu Manager and you will create new menu group called "Hidden". In this menu group you will create menu link to Phoca Gallery component - e.g. to Categories View. The help link (SEF menu link) for Phoca Gallery plugin will be created. Now you will go to Module Manager and you will unpublish the module "Hidden" (menu group "Hidden" is displayed on the site as module). Then the SEF links will be correctly displayed and the menu group "Hidden" will be not displayed on the site.

Thanks for the reply. However, I'm having trouble with the Download component, not the Gallery. Also, I only mentioned SEF to say it is NOT USED on this site as a reply to Jan's suggestion.

Hi,
yes I know, but pagination is set in the Menu link to Components. In your case Phoca Download Component.
If you don`t like the Menu Link you can hide it, but you need it to display pagination.
