Mass Upload

Hi,

I have implemented an old project utiliing as well PhocaDownload now in Joomla. Unfortunately, I have about 2000 downloaded files of history in this project. Is there any chance

1. for mass upload and I'm just too stupid to see it, or

2. is there any chance to get an instruction, which of the phoca tables need to be filled, so I could do it via direct database entries?

Hi,

1) there is no mass upload available you can mass upload files to server but there is no function to mass adding them to the component

2) in fact all the tables needs to be used, becaus if you add files to files table, you need to add info about which category they are so you need to add the data to category table, the same with section, etc.

thx for response, though I have to admit, that I posted too early. In deed, if you have a closer look at the tables, you can still mass-upload through the backdoor. I did it via phpMyAdmin and have to admit, that it worked quite well -

Of course, you need to consider carefully the linked data, like categorie, section etc., but the complexity of that was limited in my project, so not too difficult to be considered

And I need to admit, that I did not fill in all fields of the table, as I do not use all of them.
