Auto uploading of files in directory

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for the component,

I would like to know if Phoca has an option to automatically upload or detect files for its use.

For example, I have over a hundred files that I would like to be visible to Phoca. Since I've just started using it, I assume that it saves the catalogue of files in the database and that data is the one used to list the files or present them for download.

Is there a built-in tool or script I can make use of to go through files in a directory and automatically save those files in the Phoca tables?

I assume, either it hasnt been done or I am not making sense.

I can volunteer to do so and share the code, if maybe I get to understand the phoca download code

no problem. I can develop it. Would probably need to know what to save in the database for each file registered and maybe which function in the code handles that.

who would be the developer who can assist me?
