User Upload

Hi,

I am trying to get it so where a end user can upload directly into a category and have it viewable immediately.. I got it so you can upload but it goes into a unique folder and I have to move it around...Is this even possible?

Also, can a end user upload more than one photo at a time?

I tried enabling the java upload but it just errors out.

Hi, in categories view, users can upload images and there will be not created new folder.

In UCP users can upload images, but the folders needs to be created - will be created if user will make new category.

For now only single upload and java upload is possible in frontend.

In version 3.0.0 (Joomla! 1.6) new multiple upload feature was added, see:

Hi.

I have a follow up question to this one.

I am using preview for all my users downloads, but when they upload their own documents,the preview button dos not pop up, because the path to the image is not inserted.

Is there any way to make the documet default preview file as well, AND let the preview be activated when files is uploaded in the front end by user?

Hi, no for now there is no such option, so this needs to be customized in the code

The preview is a different file e.g. because only to preview some sites of the whole document, etc.
