change so clicking "download" opens up in a new window

Hi,

Are there any way to change it so when clicking the download button or file name - the downloadable item opens up in a new window?
At the moment when I have pdf’s it opens up in the same window http://www.bohemiadesign.com.au/millbro ... &Itemid=86
I have been going through the parameters but haven’t been bale to find a setting for it. The reason being that I don't want client move away from the site

Hi, sorry I don't understand ... if you click on download button, only download manager will be started but the site is not moving (redirecting) anywhere, it is not closed, user is still on the same size.

OK I have a pdf that is available for download. When a user clicks on the download link the pdf opens up in the same window as the site is loaded into. Preferably I would like the pdf to open up in a separate window so the clients always are the site.
If you login with these details u/name: test and p/word: test when visiting the above link you will see what i mean.

Try zipping the document up....compressed folders open as a download to be saved

I would prefer if the pdf opened up in a separate window so the users can read the pdf and then decide to save it or not.
