Joomla 1.0.15

From what I understand there is no easy way to upgrade from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5 without starting from scratch.
Plus I'm running some stuff that will not work in 1.5 so I'm wondering...

Will Phoca Download work in 1.0.15?

I really need a solution like this for displaying some free books for download. I tried DocMan but really like the way this looks and the options it has. I'm hoping with my fingers crossed that it will work, but thought I should ask.

Hi,

Requirements:

* Joomla!1.5.10 (stable or any later version)
* PHP 4.4.1 (or any later version).

Any idea on anything that will still work in in 1.0.x

I've google'd and can't find anything that will do.
Was afraid you would said it's no going to work in 1.0.x and only in 1.5 + but thought I'd ask =)

Sorry, if you want to use Phoca Download, there is no other way than upgrade joomla.
