Counter doesn't work

Hi mine don't work too I am using Joomla 1.5.15 and Phoca 1.3.3 anyone knows how to solve that?

Do you use internal or external link. If there is an external link then clicking on link which links to external server cannot be counted

its external server you are right
there is a way to count the external hits too ?

Hi,

perhaps this information could be helpful for somebody.

In my case I downloaded files (1,5GBs and higher) in a folder of my choice with 'wget' to share it on my homepage. -With my internetconnection at home an upload should take too much time. Then I created a new download in Phocadownload as usual with external link. -Counter didn't work. The solution for me was moving all files into the phocadownload-folder. Then I created a new download in Phocadownload as follows: choose a title for the download, click on the button in the line of filename and choose the file which you like to share. After that I activated "direct link" and save all.

so you have internal file ? the file is on your server right?

you don't have a link to http://someothersite.com/file-not-belong-to-you.exe ? right ? all your files are on your domain

somebody find a way to change it to count external links instead of internal ? or both ?
