i got a problem using Phoca Download (by the way: as all phoca extensions an easy component with all needed main features and in contrast to old docman compatible with native joomla 1.5!!!!!!)
my download area is for registred users only. the users are just registred users. i set the access level of files and categories to registred. when i enter my download area i can see all categories (when i'm logged in), but when i click on one category, i get an error 403.
i got the latest joomla version 1.5.15 and phoca download version 1.3.3. i dont use sef. the link i get is: http://www.domain.de/index.php?option=c ... &Itemid=79.
when i change the users level to author, i can see and download the files. but i dont want them to be authors.

solution: for testing reasons i had a menu item linked with phoca downloads that was only visible for admins. now the testing time has passed, i deleted the item and my problem was solved. read of this in a topic here, but checked the wrong menu item -> so it is not really a new solution
