I'm using the latest versions of the component and the download button plugin.
But I can only see the download button in the backend.
The button doesn't show up in the frontend.
Where can I adjust that ?
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Re: Download button only in backend
Hoi Jan,
Thanks, but I still don't see how to activate the button.
I only see the download button in the backend (as super administrator)
Not in the frontend (as publisher or super administrator)
I've activated the download-button plugin and the download plugin.
Do I have to use another editer? I've tried tinyMCE and JCE (both latest versions)
Another suggestion ?
Thanks,
Rob

Re: Download button only in backend
aha, that's the reason.
Will there be a frontend plugin for future upgrades ?
That would be very nice !
Thanks for your reply,
Rob

Re: Download button only in backend
Jan,
I realize that your time is limited, but having the download button in the front-end of JCE is vital for some of my websites. My users add documents only from the front-end and without the button they can not attach any files.
Can you please reconsider and move this project forward.
I want to thank you for the excellent software you have produced over the years. Keep up the good work.
regards,
Idso.

Re: Download button only in backend
Hi, the problem now is the Joomla! 1.6 as it is dramatically changed in the code and all the extensions needs to be overwritten so this will take some time
