Tree Module Problems

Post by ag1266 »

Hi,

Am not yet in production with this so still setting things up on my test site. Upgraded to 1.32 tonight then tried to install Tree Module (Am new to tree module, I hadn't tried this on previous version so can't say if it worked on that)

Module installs fine, but when I go to edit it the screen is not what I'd expect in Joomla:

Image

If I just enable the module without configuring I get white screen site. Switching site debugging on gives:

Notice: Undefined variable: aid in /httpdocs/modules/mod_phocadownload_tree/mod_phocadownload_tree.php on line 55

Fatal error: Class 'PhocaDownloadHelperRoute' not found in /httpdocs/modules/mod_phocadownload_tree/mod_phocadownload_tree.php on line 101

On 1.5.15. Legacy mode not enabled.

Any help appreciated

Cheers
Andy

Same problem, I'm afraid. Checked component upgraded. Deleted old tree module and installed new and checked it was 1.3.3

If I enable it via the red x green tick in the Module manager the menu appears on front page of site, but I can't change any of the settings :(

Hi,
I'm running Phoca Download 1.32 Beta for 3 days now (on Joomla 1.51.5) and i'm facing the same problem. This is what I get when I login with Community Builder login:
Fatal error: Class 'PhocaDownloadHelperRoute' not found in /home/folder/public_html/modules/mod_phocadownload_tree/mod_phocadownload_tree.php on line 101
I really like the functionality of this component. So this bug is really frustrating. I think I need to go back to some other download component...

Jan, it looks like the error message only appears if some other component is involved. My Joomla system has produced theses messages when I was using the follwing components/modules:
CB Builder login, Joomla Tag Cloud and wmessenger pro. Any idea how to fix it or to work around?

Hi,
I found a workaround: Open the download tree module and explicitely exclude all those pages that produce the error message. It worked for me with my recommendation page which is based on the Winged Messenger Pro component.

I think we are talking 2 different errors in this thread.

I have no ability to save selected page choices. I see what the user sees with the submitted image (above).
There is no means to save selected module settings.

I have no ability to save the download tree when adjusting the module, because some coding in the module itself strips the html/css from the module. Same problem as user ag1266 (above)

This is the only module that I have ever encountered this type of error with.

I tried to attach a screen shot and error log from my browser, but It won't permit. (apparenlty I can't attach the picture - not upload attachment to ./files/13547_1a818aee03e48496c4b7edab2d88eb67.)

I even tried to upload the same image that user ag1266as posted in this forum, but won't let me do that either. Txt files are not permitted either.

Hi, image upload is not allowed here becasuse of security reasons, try to add it through imageshack e.g. see above:
If you have problem on your site, please paste the link to your site or link a screenshot of your site (with help of imageshack, etc.)
