Extension of downloaded files

Some files, in particular having ZIP extension, are being downloaded with html extension.
Just tried in https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/4 ... ton-plugin# first 2 files - they are being saved as HTML files, not archives. All other 3 files - are OK, saved as ZIP. And it happens only in Opera (I have version 10.10), with FireFox 3 all files are recognized as ZIP.
Any ideas?

PS. some of my site visitors are claiming that they cannot download files. It seems that they are experiences the same problem - files are being saved with wrong extension and could not be opened.

Hi, try to check your server settings, maybe there are some limitation.

On the Phoca.cz site I can download the ZIP and get it as ZIP so no idea what can be wrong on your server

I am testing it in:

Firefox, IE, Opera and Chrome and stil get a ZIP

Actually, it's funny, because I still have this error. It would be possible to say that my Opera is not configured properly, but this issue appears only for first 2 files (button plugins).


All language files are recognized as ZIP. And both FF3 and IE8 are working properly..

But maybe on your browser there is some problem to open next page, because clicking on the first file links to license page not to download the file.
