Hi,
I'm struggling with setting up proper access right for uploading photos to (sub)categories by different users.
What I would like to reach as endresult:
1. an admin role that sets up (sub)categories and can control all photos in all categories.
2. various end-users that can upload photos to various (sub)categories
When creating a new category in the backend I see Access level, Access rights, Upload rights and Delete rights, but I don't get it to work when I select a specific user or all registered users.
What is the relation with Access level under General Settings, tab Users?
The manual isn't clear enough for me.
Can anybody explain how to use these settings to serve my purpose?
Tx a lot already,
Bart.

Re: How to set access for frontend upload?
Hi, did you read this:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ser-upload
In UCP users can upload only to their categories, in Category view, they can upload to any category where they have upload rights.
Access - you can set group which can access the images (display the images)
Access Rights - you can specify one user from the group.
Access Level - some parts of the system are open to registered only (in time, in Joomla! the rights management was changing, so this is only specific setting, you can define group which should be taken as registered). E.g. if you login, it does not matter which group you are, every groups except public are active after login (in this parameter you can change it if needed)
