Error while saving Phoca Download Sections

i have a problem ;

first , i had a problem like this solved problem (Error while saving phoca download section)

i read this post and i solved it, but in database, there is no phoca_download_categories table, i used install.bak file, but it didnt create phoca_download_categories table, i try to create phoca_download_categories table but it isnt working.

Can anybody tell me, phoca_download_categories tables properties, fields, etc.

ok i arrenged problem, i used phoca_gallery_categories' fields and properties, its same . only i changed table name.it works

the sql queris you will find in install.bak file which is included in the root of the zip file...

I look on MySQL and I don't see the tables, I found install.back but I don't know how to intall it manually

If you are installing Phoca Download,

just copy all SQL queries (except ALTER TABLE ... queries) and run them in e.g. phpMyAdmin. But beware, because the names of tables are prepared for system installation, so they contain '#__' instead of your table prefix, you must rename them, e.g.:

* #__phocadownload to TablePrefix_phocadownload

TablePrefix is the prefix you selected while installing Joomla! 1.5 (it is mostly 'jos_' and it should differentiate the Joomla! tables from other tables used in your database). Make sure that you delete #_ at the start of the line; you only need one _ {underscore}. Do this for all queries.

Hello! I am having the same error and desperately need help

Can anybody please explain what it means to "copy all SQL queries (except ALTER TABLE ... queries) and run them in e.g. phpMyAdmin"? I know how to get to phpMyAdmin and open the install.bak in text editor, but then really don't know what to do next.

Hi, you should copy the sql queries, check the syntax (e.g. if the table names includes right prefix - your prefix which you have add while installing Joomla!) and then just run the query in phpMyAdmin (I you don't know how, you need to contact someone with sql skills or try to read phpMyAdmin documentation )
