Shadowbox: Image not scaled to window size

Hi,

I am trying to costumize a Joomla site for use with mobile devices. I use Joomla 3.4.1 with PhocaGalllery 4.1.2

In PhocaGallery I changed the detail view to shadowbox, because it seems, that this kind of popup provides the best result on a smartphone.
The shadowbox is not scaled to the display size. It is as big as on a normal computer monitor.

I only see the left upper corner of the shadowbox ...

Can anyone give me a hint?

On my Joomla 2.5.28 with Phocagallery 3.2.8 the shadowbox is responsive on my samsung galaxy s5.

Hi, if you mean only the modal window then yes, you can use javascript popups which resize the image to screen resolution.

Sorry, may be I am too stupid for that.
I tried PhocaPhoto.
The result is, that all thumbnails in the List of categories (categories view) are arranged in only one column. But in PhocaGallery options and also in PhocaPhoto options I defined 4 columns for the categories view

Version 3 is designed by Bootstrap 3.

Phoca Photo is made for Bootstrap 3. So use a Bootstrap 3 Template for testing (e.g. Phoca Gweld)

Now I tested the gallery using the Phoca Gweld Template. In fact, the gallery is now looking better.


How can I hide the filenames of the images and the blue buttons, that opens the images from the category? I think the buttons are not necessary. I would like to have the categories arranged as a simple grid of images without any text ...

Hi, this needs to be done:

- in code directly in PHP (Phoca Photo does not include so mu styling parameters to load faster)
- or the easy way is to hide the with help of CSS - just add "display:none" attribute/parameter for the parts you want to hide.

Now I made a template override in the phoca_gweld template for the component com_phocaphoto. I commented out the concerning boxes in the code of default.php in the categories and in the category folder. This works, and gives me that simple layout that I prefer:

But alas, now I have no lightbox, no popup as detail view, only a poor image. What did I do wrong?

Hi, in Phoca Photo, there are two methods:
