Forbidden keeps appearing when generating thumbnails

Hi

I have spent the last two days playing with Phoca on Joomla 3.4 and it is all going well, except that when I generate tumbnails I keep getting the following:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server

This will occur within a few thumbnails, and refreshing the page will usually allow the thumbnails to continue. Sometimes have to refresh a few times. The thumbnails will always work in the end.

I would have thought that if the security settings were wrong I would see this message every time, not hit and miss as it is doing.

Hi, yes, this seems to be some security limit

I am testing now 3.4 and get no such problem and I don't think, this can be some php function integrated into Joomla! - this really seems like some limit on server, so maybe you should ask your webhosting provider

Hi Jan

I have been talking to the hosting support team and it looks like the Gallery thumbnail creator is being picked up as a DDOS attack and blocks the access.

I will work with them and find a solution.
