Unable to save settings

Brand new install. Last time I played with Joomla, it was at version 2.5.

Joomla 3.3.6
Phoca Gallery 4.1.2

Nothing else installed


I'm unable to either "Save", "Save & Close" or "Cancel" the settings in "System / Global Config / Phoca Gallery"
There is just no response to me clicking the buttons.
The top Joomla nav bar on the same page gets greyed out as if to ensure I save or cancel my settings, but nothing else that I can see.

Just noticed that I can only edit the Global Config and not any of the other component settings. So it isn't just a phoca thing.

Still, anybody any thoughts?

Answer:
1. Log out of front and back ends.
2. Clear browser cache (I am using Chrome)
3. Log back into back end.
