port difference

Question

May i know what is the different between chain1@192.168.56.102:6465 (<<< that port 6465)

and the port number that i obtained from the following command

grep rpc-port ~/.multichain/chain1/params.dat 

which is 6464

The first (6465) is the peer-to-peer port over which the nodes communicate.

The other 6464 is the RPC-Port that allowes to connect to the node and execute commands (like trigger transactions, get balance etc.)
