Loyalty programs

Question

I see some ideas about "customer facing rewards" scheme. I also read recently about "wave platform" and a loyalty scheme based on that namely "incent".  Is it possible to implement such a scheme using Multichain ?

Yes, you could certainly run a loyalty program over a MultiChain blockchain. Each type of loyalty point would be a different asset on the chain, issued by the respective merchant. The blockchain could act as the shared backbone of the system between the merchant, enabling them to transfer loyalty points between, conduct exchanges, and so on,

Unless the merchants agree on a common loyalty point (say  like Air Miles ) it will not be trade-able ? It is should have a dollar value . Do you have any idea how this can be achieved in Multichain so that various merchants can exchange their loyalty points ? The scheme will have more value  if the loyalty points are exchangeable between merchants .
