Could you throw some more light on the Genesis Block creation and usage in MultiChain.

We can create multiple chains in Multichain , does a genesis block gets generated for each different chain. How does it work in Multichain.

Yes, each blockchain has its own genesis block. It is created when the chain is started by the first node when multichaind is started, also locks down the values of the blockchain's parameters.
