Network throughput computation

Hi,

I am interested in how the general network throughput of multichain can be computed (how you guys did it in "http://www.multichain.com/blog/2016/07/announcing-the-new-multichain-wallet/" quoting 200 to 800 tx/sec).

Fire up a bunch of nodes, and run a script on each of them to perform transactions as fast as you can (one API call at a time). That's the basic idea.
