importaddress related to multisig

Question

Dear MC team,

could you clarify if I need to send importaddress command after addmultisigaddress?

According to RPC-API commands table, the addmultisigaddress already adds it to the wallet so I suppose that importaddress is not needed.

However in 'Multisignature transaction' chapter there are both of them.

Could you please clarify?

Thanks for pointing this out – this is actually a mistake and the importaddress step is not required. The tutorial has now been fixed.
