I am using Microsoft; after I connect to multichaind chain2 -daemon...it says Node ready but then I can't type anything else

If you are using MultiChain in Windows, you need to open a second command line prompt in order to issue commands to the node. You can do this using the cmd command from within the Windows Explorer.
