What does the following error mean - 'Unconfirmed asset: Msbond(Code:-8)

Question

I am trying to send an asset qty from one node to the to other. lets say from A to B

On A the deduction of asset happens and the balance reduces.

But on B the balance doesn't increase and the txn is not appearing in the wallet

When i try to send an asset from B I get the above error.

Am I doing something wrong?

It sounds like the two nodes may be out of sync, i.e. that B has not yet seen the transaction which generated the asset. Or perhaps there is a temporary fork in the chain.

That would make sense if this asset was very recently created, and the problem should sort itself out after a block or two.

But if this is not the case, it looks like a more straightforwards bug that we need to fix. Please let me know!

The blockchain is new and I did give time after the asset was created.  The problem repeated every I tried to do it.

If you could stop that blockchain running on both nodes to freeze the files in place, it would be great if you could zip both ~/.multichain/[chain-name] directories up and send them to me at gideon AT consciences.com. We'll then take a look here to see what happened in this case and aim to fix the problem in the next alpha.

Sorry don't have them. I have deleted the folders and recreated them. I find it easier using the same bc-name as its already there in the command-line cache.
