Hello,
running "multichaind ….. -rescan" system indicates "from 0 to 1000 blocks". What's exactly "1000"? Is it the last block I be able to create in a chain? Can I create more blocks after thousandth or not?

This is nothing to do with any kind of block limit, it's just how the progress at rescanning the blockchain is shown on the command line. First block 0 to 1000, then blocks 1001 to 2000, etc...
