when i list streamsitems i see the published key and a filed called "confirmations": 32

what does this field mean and what does the number 32 means (i have only one miner)

The confirmations field (present in several places) shows how many blocks have been built on top of a transaction, i.e. how "deeply" it is now embedded in the blockchain.
