i usually only cut sticky stuff with my cutterbys honeycomb scissors they are made for the sticky stuff...and usually i just leave them sticky lol or pick off the stuff and hit em up with a scrubby pad and soap maybe once a year lol

I clean mine with alcohol swabs..................works great!!  :)Judy

judy, I am with you.  Alcohol works great for getting the sticky off.  That is what we use in the hospital to get the sticky tape off the patients.

You can also "sharpen" your punches by punching through tin foil a few times, and I've heard punching wax paper helps lubricate/smooth them.  I don't use mine very often, but I know the tin foil works!

I'm with art_teacher, the tin foil trick works great!  I use it all the time to sharpen my cutterbees.  Couple snips here and there and there like new.  Now the wax paper trick, is that for punches only or does it do something to your scissors as well?
