Nancy, how awful! For you and the parents! What were they thinking?I have something for my kids and then My DH and I usually go to the theatre. I'm not sure what he has planned this year though because we've been doing a lot of other, different things this year and last. It will be a surprise I guess. but he's usually good about this.

I'm actually getting my hair cut and colored that day.  We went out to dinner tonight so we will skip going out - too expensive!!!   I would love a romantic dinner and show and gifts, but it's not going to happen!I did send cards and money to 2 nieces, money and a card and book to one grandchild and new shirts and markers and workbooks and a few small treats to the other 2 in California!

a romantic dinner with the four kids and dh and myself. We do it every year. Make a nice dinner put out the good dishes and crystal.Set the table up fancy. I put out conversation hearts at everyone setting and then a special chocolate gift. Doilles( sp)  and a yummy dessert. Oh and dont forget the candles.

Dd's preschool has a Valentine's day lunch where each child can have lunch and ice cream with a loved one.  I'll be  here for that.  I got little gifts for the kids, and then dh and I will most likely go out for dinner.

My dh might be taking me to a shooting range.  I know - real romantic - but I am totally looking forward to it.  I love target practice and I would like to see if I am better than he is.

Dd and dh are going to the father/daughter dinner and dh and I will go to dinner on Valentines day.  Usually I like to take my son out when they go but this year it is Sunday and he plays in the band at church so that's where we'll be.Laura
