Your layout is very cut Barb!

It is very cold here as well. I'm trying to avoid going out. I have an errand that I was planning to walk to but it's pretty far in the cold. there's no parking there so I can't drive so I'm hoping someone will drive me there and wait, it's a very quick errand.

Hey Cherries. It is cold. Right now we are at 14 degrees with a feels like of 7 and we won’t be getting out of the teens today. I am happy that I have no plans to go anywhere today. Staying in and staying warm. Going to pick my winners for my Graphic Design Challenge and work on getting the next one up. I had a scrappy last 3 days and it felt good to play with paper again. I finished up this layout yesterday for the Baby/Kid Challenge.

Have a great day Cherries.

We are warming up in the west this morning, so It will be headed east for all you folks in the Eastern US.
Temps are above 30F and we haven't seen that in a few days.  Because of the Chinook winds blowing off the mountains, so we are windy this morning.
Was busy yesterday, so hope to have a quieter day today.  Told the minion I would bake her muffins, so I need to take some bananas out of the freezer and tackle that.
Otherwise not much on my agenda.
Back on pick up, with the grandkids back to school.

Happy Tuesday, all.
We will look forward to that!  Of course, still a couple more days of sub-zero, but when 30 degrees sounds like a heat wave, I'll take it!

It started at -9 this morning! Up to 7, now!  Brr!  We ended up getting a little more snow yesterday!  Just a dusting really.  It is windy, cold and sunny here. LOL

Yesterday, I finished 8 challenge pages for my challenge journal I am working on for this month.  I put some of them on my blog.  Yes, I did a blog post, too. Three weeks in a row.

question: which is better:  post pages all in one post on ACOT?  Or one post at a time?  Especially because it is for the 100 papers, and the team challenges?

any advice?
thanks.
I usually just post one post at a time, but if I have a bunch, it saves time to do one post.  It's really up to you! :)

Good morning y'all. A little bit cold down here. 30 degrees with wind chill of 18. Freezing Rain turned into sleet and made our roads an icy mess. No school for the kiddos here and our major highways and bridges are shut down too. Skipped my walk because I wasn't going to go out in this mess, so I opted for yoga instead. Already washed a load of doggie blankets and vacuumed our bedroom.

Shelby and Jasmine don't seem to mind but Miss Penny isn't amused. She went out once to potty, ate her breakfast and has been staying warm and in her PJs, napping. She also has her fleece blanket on her that she carries where ever she is going. Mr. Jackson isn't a fan either.

Working today and it should be a decent day. I know some of my client's offices closed and staff are working from home. Lookin' forward to another quiet day.

Stay warm y'all.
Stay inside!  Definitely the best plan. :)  Queen Artemis insisted I open the slider door for her, but she just stood there sneeze/snorting. lol  She was not amused at the icy winds, and now she is curled up for another nap, as is Miss Eliza.  I got a whole day off to relax, since I had all my schoolwork done yesterday.  Yay!

Had 2 different temps this morning when I looked at the weather. The google default (I always just use the search.) is weather.com and it said -6 and -16 wind chill. The one I rely on is weather.gov and it said it was -12 with no windchill. :wtf:
Currently more alike at 12/13 and both saying 1° windchill.

Don't you love how 2 apps can say completely different things?  The one I looked at yesterday said about 8 mph winds through the night, and they are actually around 14 mph, leading to a much colder wind chill.  Either way, school was cancelled today!

It's bitter cold here, too so luckily we have no plans to go outside. I'm still not 100% better from my stomach bug earlier in the week. Last night my lower back hurt and I had trouble sleeping. I've got five layouts to upload so I'll concentrate on those this afternoon and try to start another one.

Stay warm, Cherries!!
I hope your back is feeling better.  Not sure this cold weather will be helping, though.  Whenever my back pain acts up I know I haven't been drinking enough water.  If you had a stomach bug, you could be a bit dehydrated.  Just a thought.

Cold here too with a high of 17 degrees today.  The grandkids don't have school due to weather, so we may spend some time with them.  Otherwise, not much going on here.  I did finish a card last night and am working on a LO that I hope to finish tomorrow.

Stay warm everyone!
No school here, either.  Can't make our poor kids walk to school or stand outside for the bus with -15 wind chills!  Even if they bundle up, that is stinkin' cold!  Plus, the buses don't even warm up when it is this cold, and some kids ride for over an hour.

Well, hello Ladies!

Barb, your layout a so adorable, love all you did with it, She is so cute, just a precious little darling!
Brandy, loved this: "but Miss Penny isn't amused" (made me smile, I sure understand how your dear girl feels, being a little older than the others I get it, too!)
Valerie, I am liking the ideas for the Stickles also! Most of mine are probably dried up.
Sharon, perhaps you should share your blog address, or did you in the bio? I personally have always felt negative about large numbers in a single upload, just my opinion. I have seen where multiples are loaded in a single post, like when you have 3 photos to load for a double page with a pic of the sketch also, sometimes group of pages in the subject. I have no answer for you.
Chris, sorry for your discomfort, hope you get the rest and healing you need - in your Craft room!

I have so many photos and am so looking forward to getting prints and started to scrap!
We were in Jacksonville Sunday to celebrate our youngest boy! He is one! All smiles! Just a pure delight. He is amazing, but another amazing thing is that I played musical chairs and actually ran around, having a ball!

News for Florida is that our Gov declared state of emergency especially for the panhandle. Sounds strange for you all! But remember we don't usually have 30 degree weather, freeze and snow! My cold weather clothes are getting a huge workout!
We are in the low 60's and it is raining on and off. It will be 50 by midnight.

So, my friends, stay comfortable and safe! Let's get our 'crafty' going!

This weather is so unusual for most of the country!  If that rain changes to ice, everyone should just stay home...we don't mess with ice here, either.  :)

I don't blame you for not walking...this is the type of weather where you can get frostbite so easily.  I hope you get a ride!

I am not the right person to ask, but I would like to hear the answers.  AND  I can’t do the Nuvo drops to look pretty.  They either go flat or have points.  HOW do you do them to look nice and round and pretty?

Stickles:  I use them a lot for centers of flowers.

I wait with you for answers. 😃

VALERIE, as you lift the Nuvo drops twist it a little bit. That will give you more rounded drops. Sometimes they look pointy until they dry. You can make them ahead of time. And use them like store bought enamel drops. Just put them on acetate or wax paper and let them dry about 24 hours. Then you can pull them off and adhere them. It will give you a chance to practice too.

Hey Cherries! I’ve been chatting with Holly this morning. She’s managing as best she can. She’s very grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers and support. You ladies are VERY special!!!

We woke up to thick fog this morning. It has lifted a bit and the sun is trying to shine.

The fire in the wood stove died out and I woke up to 50 degrees INSIDE! Lol! Steve got the stove going and turned on the turbo jet heater as I call it. Within about 20 minutes it was almost 80. I like that much better!

Not quite sure what I’ll do today. So many things I need/want to do. My tummy hasn’t been very cooperative the last couple of days. So I’m tired and hoping it’s done acting up. It’s no wonder I can’t get much done around here… lol!

Im glad those of you in the frigid weather are staying inside! Don’t want to mess with that kind of weather!!!

Have a scrap happy day everyone!

Howdy.  Brrr all y’all’s temperatures make me glad I live in California.  But it was down to freezing last night and only 31 tonight so thank you for flannel and electric blankets.  Going to b 61 this afternoon.

went up into the Sierra Nevada foothills yesterday to a little town called Grass Valley. About an hours drive away and half of that was freeway. The last Ben Franklin store in California is located there.  Walked through the front door and went straight back 65+ years.  Wow! Talk about nostalgic.    Back then the only “big” stores around were, sears & roebucks, Montgomery Wards and JC Penney’s!  My friends and I wandered around in there for an hour or more.  lol. Then found a wonderful hole in the wall family Mexican restaurant for lunch.  Amazing ! I bought extra a d brought it home for dinner too.,

today, a bit of cleaning and finally get those two bday cards finished now that I found my waffle flower stencils and dies.  Nothing else all week on the calendar. I live la vida loca!!

have a terrific Tuesday.
