Hi Cherries! I could really use advice.
I am doing a challenge called Jumpstart January that starts tomorrow night. Its with my CM advisor and friends that I go to weekend crops with. I did not get many photos in 2024, not seeing my grandkkids much. So, I am thinking of doing a 2024 year in review type
albumn and get it all done!
My question is: what should my first page be? I do not want to just do my 1st January photos... Maybe a few pics from the year and call it 2024, A Year in Review? That is literally the only thing I can think of.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!! TIA

First page could have best or most important things from the year with mor about those later. Or just a nice photo with journaling about the year.

I like the idea of like a "highlight reel" for the first page and then get started chronologically.

I love the idea of a collage of photos from the year, with something like, "what a year it was".beachlover wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:28 pmHi Cherries! I could really use advice.

I bet your album is awesome when it done, and can't wait to see it!
I agree with the collage idea! And Holly’s suggestion of “What A Year It Was” or something similar is really good too. Be sure to share when it’s done
did you have a word for the year?
If you did - you could work that in somehow. For example, my word for last year was hope. So I could do something like "Finding hope in 2024" or "2024 - a year of hope" - well you get the idea
PS. my word this year is "present". Not like the ones under the tree of in the Hanukkah box - as in "being present" - letting the past go (as much as possible) and not worrying (so much) about the future. Now if anyone has any idea how I could illustrate that for the "Picture yourself" challenge - I'm all ears. I'm much better at making suggestions for other people than I am at creating solutions of my own. LOL
