Hey Cherries 😊
It's about 20° I'd say. 🥶 Brr! We got some more snow yesterday but I'd say we have a good 6 inches. It's VERY cold!
My Little Bit just HAD to go out last night and hasn't made it back, and I'm starting to worry a little. He's part Maincoone, so I know he's more adaptable to the cold than some of the others, but STILL! (Is he in the shed ignoring us again?)
Someone let the kittens out at some point last night - not me!- and somehow they brought a bird inside this morning. 🙄 NOT a live bird! 😕 I thought it was nice and cute that they were playing with their catnip mice, until I turned on the light!! 😮😩 Lol so yeah, it was an interesting morning! 😂
My hot water froze up and Omer has been beside himself trying to keep the water from freezing all the way up. He basically stayed up for two days and didn't get much rest and was VERY cranky this morning! Bless his heart! (But I don't think he trusts anyone else to keep checking the water in the bathroom and kitchen! It IS running!)
Yesterday was a lazy fun day and more of the same today! Hoping my Little Bit comes back soon!
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️🙏🏻 Stay warm and safe!! ☺️

Poor Omer! Hope he can get some rest today. And no fun to wake up to a dead bird in the house! And silly Little Bit!!! Hopefully she/he comes home soon! Have fun creating! Stay safe and warm!

Got another lovely, snow day!  They called around 7:30 pm last night, because the wind is blowing and drifting all our snow out in the country. :)  I am enjoying my extra day, since yesterday was a workday and I had a bunch of grades to enter, as well as lesson plans and seating charts. Going to be a short, but chaotic, week as we try to cram in and make up all the things we missed!  lol
Yay for another day off! But boo on behind behind already… Stay safe and warm Laura!

Howdy. Sunny but cold north wind today.  When the wind comes down from the mountains in summer, makes it hotter here.  Same wind, same mountains in winter makes it much colder.  lol. Don’t ya love weather?

Been busy all morning cleaning/tidying.  Washed my hair too.  Only other thing I’m planning is to clean pellet stove.  It’s having a problem getting going when I turn it on last several evenings which often means the little trap thingie that regulates the pellets feeding into the firebox is having issues.  Hoping cleaning fixes it.    Then I think I’ll hit my craft table  and do some tidying up there too.  I’d rather b playing but I’ve lost some of my distress mini ink pads lol so guess cleaning/tidying is necessary.

have a safe & warm Tuesday.,
Charlene, we have the same kind of winds. The winter winds are so much worse because of all the snow on the mountains. And when it comes from the north it’s even colder! I call it the Arctic Blast! Lol!

Hope you find your mini inks quickly so you can play! And hope you can get the pellet stove working right!

Hey Cherries! Hope you’re all staying safe and warm! While you’re all in the really low temps were at 44 today! It’s cloudy too. Supposed to get a bit more rain today. We ended up getting a HUGE storm last night! They say we got about 1.25 inches of rain in just about 8 hours! Wasn’t in the forecast and now they’re saying a worse one is coming tomorrow! With an additional 2-3 inches of rain! Thankfully everything held up very well all over the property. So we should be good through the next one. We’re well prepared for whatever. I try to stay prepared because we never know if the power will go out or whatever. At least we’ll have plenty of water! Hahaha!!!

My grandson Noah is still extremely depressed. He really needs prayers. He’s stopped going to work and isn’t responding to many calls or texts. My brother Bill is there with him so he’s not completely alone. But he really needs help. He’ll be 21 in March so they can’t make him do anything but hopefully somehow he’ll get help or find his way out of this somehow. :(

I started taking Christmas decorations down but didn’t get very far. After I made dinner I went to my scrappy table and created a layout based on one I saw last year and saved. I love how it turned out! Need to upload it. :) Really helped me to get my focus on something else even though the picture was of Noah and his brother Garrett back in 2013. It was our last Christmas at my parents house as we sold it a few months later. Good memories!

Today’s agenda is to get Christmas put away, go over to the cabin and get a few more things and maybe scrap again tonight. I have the sketch and pictures picked out so at least that much is done! :)

Stay safe and warm Cherries! Hope everyone’s power stays on too!

After finally sending all the LOTW badges, I found time to do this layout for the January Music challenge combined with the Hanukkah Day 4 challenge. :)  I miss my Paisley girl.  Eliza loves snow, too, though.  💞

Hey Cherries. What a day yesterday. I spent most of the day out or on the phone with the cable company. To make a very long story short we were having WiFi issues and I picked up a new modem and had so much trouble getting it functioning. Had no internet all day. Finally got it up and running last night. I did get to spend some time with my sister though so that was nice. Today I am in all day (yay) which makes me happy since our wind chill is in the single digits. Going to finish my laundry that I never got to finish yesterday and get in my scrap room which I also didn’t get to do yesterday. Oh and we did end up getting some snow ❄️ around an inch maybe but I’ll take it! Roads were good but a nice covering of white on everything. And it certainly is not going to melt today. My polar dogs love it!

Hope everyone that was in yesterday’s storm is safe and hope you all have power!

Have a great day Cherries.

You sure have had more than your share of internet issues.  Glad it worked out!
Yeah today was not great either. Issues getting my Ring devices on the WiFi. Finally got that all worked out, but I swear my Cable company is driving me crazy! Everything is working but my house landline. Getting nowhere on an online chat with them. Now they want to send a tech out! Seriously? There must be a reason everything is working but I get no dial tone. I need a technician to come here for that? I am just so aggravated!

Oh wow!  How very frustrating.  I hope they figure it out.
