Hey Cherries. I got my scraproom pretty much cleaned up over the weekend. I can see my tables again and even played a little working on a thank you card. I have laundry today and some errands to run and hope to get back in there in between. It is cold out but we are not expected to get anything from this storm, although I see a chance of snow around 1pm. I hope all of you in this storm and in its path stay safe.
Hope you all have a great and safe day.

Good Morning, Barb! Enjoy your day!
Need to do laundry and probably vacuum through. Making a great dent in my Bermuda album. All done up to Bermuda and ordered the rest of the photos yesterday. Not sure why I procrastinate on ordering photos. Will probably work on some Christmas layouts while I wait on photos to arrive. Persnickity is pretty good on their turn around time.
Still cold here and we had a little more snow over night. Need to get out and shovel the walk and get some exercise. We ran to Sams yesterday. Got cheaper gas. Also the best price on eggs I have seen in a while. Stocked up on Airborne on sale with travel in my immediate future. I am a firm believer in boosting your immune system before you travel.
Happy Monday, all!

We woke up to about 2 inches of snow and it's been falling steadily. Now there is close to 4 inches. Slowing down but supposed to pick back up again later today. So pretty...especially from the inside looking out!

Brr! From Kansas! Yesterday blizzard conditions. Snow quit last night, but overnight windchills of -10 here, other parts of the state -25. Right now 5 feels like 0! Left our cupboards by sinks open and faucets dripping overnight. We haven’t lost power but others have. Everything, even churches canceled yesterday, today everything closed! Alerts on cell phones to stay off roads today. We are staying in, and warm, and safe!
The good thing is I crafted most of day, yesterday! Two layouts, easy ones. And I got it all uploaded to my gallery and posted to the correct places on here! Big job for me! LOL.
Maybe I will craft some more today! Still need to clean or de-clutter my room….oh, and Monday is day I am supposed to do a post on my blog. I was really lax on that last year!
stay warm, stay safe, stay crafty!

Congrats on getting the room together, Barb, it always feels nice when I can clean up my space. @MTCanuck, photos are the hardest part for me, too. The selecting, the editing, the ordering, ugh. @VickiR, that is my favorite way to enjoy the snow--inside, curled up! Enjoy! @FoxyStamping, we didn't get quite as much on the eastern side of Missouri, but the colder air is hitting us, too. Enjoy staying in and scrapping. We used to live in KC, and for some reason, Instagram has decided I need to see all the reels of people driving in KC right now. LOL I just want to yell, "GET OFF THE ROADS!"
We have a snow day today, although I have some work I need to get done. My parents' power went out and they have a generator but are refusing to turn it on (farm folk), so are sitting in the cold. I'm not sure what to do with them, except for checking up on them regularly, but Mom is getting annoyed with that. Oh, well, she could have chosen to be annoyed or be warm, so... Should finish my New Year's cards today!

Well, we got our snow...up to 6 inches, now! I got to stay home and do my "workday" from here. The news said the last time we had this much snow at once was 2015! I hope this year won't be like that, because I remember we had 12 snow days, which really interfered with my school musical (The Addams Family). We are doing The Music Man this year and we are already getting a 3-days later start than last year.
I hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

Right on, Barb! So glad you got some tidying done and actually played a little!
Stay safe and warm out there!

I'm with you! We have about 6 inches and now the winds are picking up. Going to be lots of blowing and drifting!

Yikes! We have the snow, but not the wind/cold (yet, anyway). I am thinking that as the winds kick up here, we will probably have school cancelled tomorrow, too, due to the drifting.FoxyStamping wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 11:55 amBrr! From Kansas! Hey neighbor I got the same snow as you, Laura, plus ice and more snow on top of that is happening now lol!
I REALLY hope you enjoy your work from home snow day- AND I hope you have no more interruptions with your musical!!!

Be safe and bundled up well out there shoveling snow!
I agree that boosting your immune system is important before traveling!
Have fun scrapping!
I agree, Vicki! Gorgeous looking out at it, but I don't REALLY wanna go out in it!
Enjoy your snow day!

I'll have to go check out your new layouts; so cool you got them in the right places lol I've put them in the wrong spots before, too!
Good luck on your blog post and have fun crafting some more!
I have a snow day, too, but it is a teacher workday, so I have to finish my semester grading and do my seating charts/plans for the first day of our new semester. That is looking like it will be Wednesday, based on how much snow we got and the blowing/drifting that is going on right now! lol My parents just live about 2 miles away, so if we have power, they have power, generally. I'm just happy that my Dad doesn't feel the need to go out in it! (He is 82 and Mom is turning 80 this year.)VexedAngel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 12:05 pm

Lol Ann Marie! You crack me up!
I hope your mom decides to warm and not annoyed but I know how moms can be! Lol!
I hope you're enjoying your snow day as much as you can (and yes LOL some people NEED to stay off the roads!)
Have an awesome rest of your day!
Snowmaggedon 2025, Cherries!
We've had snow and ice and more snow LOL we're NOT going anywhere! I DID clear off some of my workspace yesterday and did some scrappin' for the first time in forever! More arts and crafts (and TV) today lol!
It's supposed to snow all day again, and I'm ALREADY debating on wether or not I can work on Wednesday. (The whole trailer park is a giant block of ice lol so we'll see!)
Stay safe and warm and blessed, DCs!

Wow. You folks with your crazy cold weather stay inside where it’s warm(er) and safe. It’s cold at night here going down into 30’s but sunny and around 60 by late afternoon. These crazy January weather doldrums we’ve had last couple decades are part of why California is having water issues now.
nothing much going on today. It’s the 6th anniversary of Alan’s dying. Had plans but they were canceled. I do need to go to grocery today. I’m down to my last bottle of Dr Pepper. That’s something I try to never b out of.
stay warm.

We got snow, too. I think maybe 2 inches which is plenty enough for me. My daughter who lives at the beach in Delaware already got about 9 inches. So much for moving to the beach!!
I had nice long phone conversation with a friend but finally in my scrap room.
Ooops - forgot to hit submit! I'm almost done my first layout of the day.
