It is seriously cold here, too!  Kitty thinks the sun means it is warm, and she has been outside twice and come back in both times after less than 5 minutes. LOL  She is currently napping on her kitty bed. 

I have a bunch of stuff to do today, including a grocery pickup before the storm hits us, picking up my Beetle, which needed new tires, and grading papers.  Sigh... Back to reality, soon!

Poor kitty! They just don’t understand why we can’t control the weather!!! I hope you can get your must dos done quickly so you can play and/or relax awhile!

Happy cleaning and scrapping Barb 

It is cold in Miami...woke up to 50 degrees and windy ...it is wonderful!!!  Sitting in my scrap room with all the windows open and grading papers. I don't even mind because the weather is so fantastic. Just finished lesson plans so I'm ready to go back on Monday.

Hoping to get scrappy this afternoon, my motivation and time is back  Have a great day everyone. 

50 degrees in Miami! I bet there’s people out there in winter coats, hats and gloves! Lolol! That’s quite chilly for you guys! Enjoy it Kristin! Have fun playing!!!

Very lazy day and it's too cold to do much of anything. So I'm sitting in my toasty scrap room thanks to my little portable heater which is perfect for my little room. 

I just posted this layout for this week's sketch which I completed yesterday. Getting ready to start another challenge.

Hi Cherries!!! 
christmas is packed away! I put up my blue twinkle lights for winter and just in time for the ice storm ! Ugh I wish they were wrong and we would get snow!! We are on the border between the storm so really we don’t know for sure. Ice storms are NEVER good !!! We are under an Ice Storm Warning . 
for those cherries impacted by the storms stay safe and in touch if you can! 
today I’m going the normal weekly Saturday stuff  ! I am hoping to get in my scrappy space !!! If not today then tomorrow!!

Hey Cherries  
It's certainly cold here and get colder. The winter storm warning was upgraded to a potential ice storm for us as well. I don't have to tell you work was BUSY BUSY last night! My shift flew by, and I'm expecting the same today! 
I've been looking at ALL the challenges and am SO excited to scrap! I have a few days off this week and am REALLY looking forward to it! I'm needing to bash some stash this year for sure!
I've been tidying my space a little at a time, and I'm getting more 3 drawer containers. I'll need them!

We are in the deep freeze in Montana too! Says it’s a whole 10F out. We had 6 inches of new snow yesterday afternoon and evening. The grandsons are supposed to be coming over to shovel! More expected today! Winter has certainly arrived. Glad we have nowhere to go and can just hibernate.

Working on my last cruise I took to Bermuda and hope to finish it before the next one in a few weeks.

DH is determined to put Christmas away today. DD has gone out to a friend's bday party and will be gone all day. I'm trying to copy edit (because all those "future me problems" are coming home to roost now LOL!) while also putting Christmas away because nobody knows how it all fits in the boxes / space we have for Christmas except me. That's the thing about living in an NYC apartment. All of Christmas has to fit in the hall closet, except the tree. Also, I'm a little neurotic about HOW it all gets put away.  Anyway....that's what's going on here. And I'm also putting together supplies pics for my next few layouts. I can't think creatively right now with everything everywhere all at once LOL but can at least get stuff together. I'm also putting out supplies from the team stash list so I have them handy and maybe they will inspire some ideas. 

Ann Marie I’m the SAME WAY about putting Christmas things away!!!! I hope you get lots of time to play with the team list! I think it’s a fun one!

Happy Chilly Saturday Cherries!

It's 26 here at the moment... we are forecasted to get some winter weather tonight through Monday or Tuesday.  I'm in my scrapbook room at the moment.  I made a quick run to the grocery store to get a few things in case we do get snow/ice - extra drinks, some snack stuff - having 2 teenage boys for the weekend, the snack stuff and fruit goes fast.  

I'm hoping to spend the biggest part of the day in my scrapbook room today unless I catch a nap later on... Hope you all are staying warm and crafty!

Rebecca, the can totally relate to the teenage boys and groceries!!! When Steve and I were in our first few years of marriage he had 3 sons and I had a daughter and they were all between 10 and 16! The boys would come visit for summers. I’d go to the grocery store, get a week’s worth of groceries. I’d get home and put them away then 10 minutes late 90% of what I’d just bought would be gone! They’re ravenous beasts for sure! Hahaha!!! 

I hope your weather warms up quickly too! And I hope it’s not as bad as they’re predicting! Stay safe!!!

Sunny with a few puffy white clouds here and highs in upper 50’s for the weekend.  I have lots needing doing but got up with a stinking headache.  Left side of face numb from cheekbone to jawbone and forehead pounding like a jackhammer.  Took aspirin and drank 16 oz Dr. Pepper for the caffeine but usually when this happens, I’m useless for the day.  Ugh 

have a productive Saturday.

I got distracted and had to do a little scrapping.   Paper grading still needs to be done, but here is my layout for the Hanukkah Day 7 challenge:

Sunny with a few puffy white clouds here and highs in upper 50’s for the weekend.  I have lots needing doing but got up with a stinking headache.  Left side of face numb from cheekbone to jawbone and forehead pounding like a jackhammer.  Took aspirin and drank 16 oz Dr. Pepper for the caffeine but usually when this happens, I’m useless for the day.  Ugh 

have a productive Saturday.

Hey Cherries! It’s only 34 here… And it’s grey and cloudy. The snow is ice now too. I really need to get stuff done today but I’m not feeling like being busy. Lol! Might have to take a nap and see if I feel more motivated when I get up. Lolol! 

An update on our silly cat. He’s finally starting to come in the evenings after dark. He usually comes in for a little bit to eat and stays for a bit then goes back out. Almost every night he’s starting to come back around 9 or 10 and he curls up with us in the bed. The last 2 nights he stayed with us on the bed all night! He’s also finding places to hide! A few days ago he went up under the kitchen cabinets! He thought that was great! We’re thinking of putting those low rolling totes under the cabinets for more storage but haven’t decided yet… Until then he can hide there.

I am the same way about packing it all up Anne-Marie! I know where everything came from and what goes where. I can get it all into the bins to fit just right and how I want it. Lol. And I can't think creatively in a mess either. I need to have everything put away and organized before I can get crafty. Hence today's Operation Scrap Room Cleanup. LOL.
