Good morning cherries. I got everything done I wanted to yesterday and then some. Christmas is put away -- shocked DH when he came home from work! 😂  6 loads of laundry and even put in several hours of work. Dinner was leftovers and we passed out before 10pm. We were exhausted! Already ran to the store this morning to get a few basics that we were out of, plus take advantage of major sale going on at my grocery store for cleaning supplies (needed some swiffer stuff and Febreze).

Need to clean bathrooms and sweep/mop floors. Plus I want to go to Beall's and maybe Ross for some bins. I'm going to tackle the Furbaby cabinets. I've got their treats, chews/bones, Jackson's food/treats, their flea prevention stuff and calming things. Just on the shelves. It's organized chaos. At least their leashes/harnesses are in a basket. So I'm hoping to organize those items a bit better. I'll be able to see what they have and just make it look nice! Even if it's just for me. :)

I too need to tidy up my scrap room. At least the room has been vacuumed and the doggie beds that are in there are clean too.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Phew!  You go girl!  Once again you wore me out just reading what you've done today!

Good Morning Cherries!  Still under the weather here - the ear infection is hanging on. Hoping that by the weekend, I'll be mostly better.  I've got to head out to the grocery store and pick up some things to make for dh's Mom's Christmas tomorrow.  Finger foods - so nothing too bad.

Working on getting the house back into every day shape and sorting out things in the freezer.... wanting to make some freezer meals for the next few weeks and trying to take stock of things that are already in there!  Hoping to get to scrap soon!

Hope you're feeling better every day, Rebecca!

Greetings, ladies! Hope those of you who have had some relaxing moments feel reenergized. And those of you who are already in super cleaning mode still take time to breath.
Other than the usual list of household chores, I plan only to clean up my stamping area since I seem to have gotten that bug to scrap again. There are still some sewing I want to do, but not necessarily on my list for today because I WILL tackle that stamp desk!
Looking forward to seeing your beautiful creations again, Joyce.  Both stamping and sewing!

Hey Cherries 😊
Well yesterday turned out to be a busy. A lot of the kids and adults weren't feeling well, something happened with a hose on his truck, and so forth. Lol these things happen! (I've done some more shopping here lol!)
I'm having coffee now and it's a VERY rainy day. I thought I worked today but don't. I'm gonna try my hand at some writing again today. I NEED to do some more cleaning. LOL!
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️😊

Hope everyone is feeling better going in to the New Year!  Forget the cleaning and do some writing!

Been out for a walk while the wind isn't blowing a gale!!!  Only in the 30's. but the sun is shining brightly today.  Tried out my new heated vest and it works awesome!!!

Special day for DH and I.  Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.  Not sure what we are up to.  Probably out to eat somewhere.  How that time has flown.

Need to clean our bathrooms and that will be about it for me.  Maybe fold some sheets and towels in the dryer.  I had a pretty chill day yesterday too.  Not ready to dismantle Christmas yet.  Waiting until the New Year!

So, planning to spend time at my scrap desk.

Happy Friday.  So mixed up this week with Christmas in the middle!
Happy Anniversary to you and your DH, Leslee!  A heated vest sounds like a good thing to have on a brisk day walk.

We were up and out to pick up our seafood (lobster) for New Year's Eve.  Stopped for a few groceries too.  Rain starting tomorrow for the next 4 days and this way we won't have to go out in the downpour.  Worked on packing away the Christmas decor yesterday and this afternoon.  Everything stashed except the tree.  I will leave that intact until New Years Day.  Pulled out my Valentine decor and started on that.  Have to give it a month or more or it's not worth doing IMO.  I love going from Christmas into Valentine's Day and then Easter.

Howdy.   Was in bed and asleep by 12:30 last night. House cleaned and Christmas removed and packed up just waiting for rain to stop so I can store it back in the shed.

heavy rain/wind overnight and possibly too much sugar in the form of petit fours during the evening seem to have given me a nightmare.  Woke up at 4:30 scared to death and sure someone was in the house and wanted to hurt me!  Took me 20 minutes to get up and grab my big LED flashlight and walk through every room!

I want to get back to my rock painting today but can’t find my stazon ink pads anywhere.  I have 5-6 colors from when I made coasters out of tiles and used Stazon to stamp words/images.   So maybe a quickie trip to Michael’s at least for black.    Other than that, nothing going on. Well maybe shop here a bit. SS sent me a notice I’m getting $15 more a month this year from cost of living raise.  Woohoo. Lol

Have a pleasant Friday  and try to stay warm and dry.

Hey Cherries. Yesterday was the laziest day ever. I did absolutely nothing all day but lay on the couch and watch tv. And I loved it. I earned it. lol. Hopefully today I can shake the lazies off at least for a bit and do something productive… like maybe start cleaning my scrap room. We’ll see how that goes. Lol.

Have a great day Cherries.
You most certainly earned it Barb! I hope you can get the scrap room cleaned and still relax!

Good morning, Cherries. Long time no see, been swept up in life. At any rate, it's Christmas break here and I am in max laziness/relaxation mode. We are heading to my MIL's for the weekend, and I plan on chilling there, too, although I am sure I will cook one night and I'll do the dishes all weekend. Least we can do since we increase the household by triple! Looking forward to sleeping in and they like to play games, and that's always fun.
Scrappy wise?? I may try to pull together a small project to take with me, but we'll see. I feel my time may be best used to try to round up photos for a yearly photo book that I haven't done in quite awhile. More like digi scrapping, I guess!
Hope you enjoy your weekend! And hope you can get your photo book done!

So I had waited to wrap the quilt until I made the label. Then ended up wrapping it because I forgot I was waiting and remembered right after that I still had to make the label.  But got it made and sewed it on Christmas day after she opened it.  Pic of the label is in my gallery.
Yesterday I started to clean my craft room but didn't get very far other than flipping and turning a rug and moving a set of drawers to the other side of a piece of furniture. That took my energy. Today is another day.
I still haven't finished the treats I was making the other day. I have to make frosting for the sugar cookies and melt chocolate and dip the peanut butter patties. No biggie - they'll be back over for NYE. I had already sent my daughter home with 3 other cookies.
I need an injection of energy. Feeling tired, awoke at 1 and 3 last night.
Tam, I need that energy injection too! Hope you get better sleep tonight!!! And glad you got the label on the quilt too. :)

Earlier today I shared a post about our last few days and then pffff...it disappeared. We had a great Christmas and I'm exhausted even though the kids did most of the work. I finished one layout and completed a second one!

Oh Charleneanne!!! So sorry that you had such a bad nightmare!!! I know what that’s like. {{{HUGS}}} I bet as soon as you get home with the Staz-on inks you’ll find the ones you’ve been looking for! Yes the SSI”raise” is such a joke. Better than nothing I guess…

Re: Scrap a Day, December 27th
Hey Cherries! I need that energy injection too! Our poor cat still hasn’t figured out the new living situation. But he’s slowly getting better. He’s at least started coming to the upstairs door wanting in!

But even being 7 years old he STILL hasn’t figured out that we cannot stop the rain or storms! He came in and just cried and cried like a pitiful kitten. We tried everything to get him to lay with us or at least settle down but he wouldn’t and just kept crying. So I finally got up at 4 am when it wasn’t raining hard and made him go outside. He went straight to the covered part of the deck and down the stairs. Lol. Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep last night!  It’s still raining off and on but no winds which is nice.

I’ve been trying to do things all morning and I’m just exhausted so I think it might be nap time. Steve’s going duck hunting while the tide is right so it will be quiet.

Hopefully I can wake up refreshed and can straighten up my kitchen again. Still not sure where to put things. Lol! And maybe even set up my scrappy space!

Have a great Friday Cherries!!!!
