Hey Cherries. Yesterday was just DS, the doggies, and later in the day DD and family. We had a really nice time together. Very laid back as we always like it. Today is all about doing absolutely nothing! Going to just chill all day.
Hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and can just relax today.

Good morning Barb, glad you had a great family day
Slept in until 9:00 this morning, just worn out. Dinner was a success. Today I need to clean my kitchen but other than that I am doing NOTHING.
Hope everyone has a great day

Hey Cherries
Had a lovely Christmas at home yesterday. DGD and her boyfriend bought us a breakfast, and DGD got me a bunch of sweet little gifts. Adhesives and glitter a precious little prayer box!
I overslept and am having coffee. Going to my brother and SIL here in a little bit. Lol Christmas part 2!
Stay blessed, DCs!

Good morning cherries! The boys had a FABULOUS Christmas with us on Christmas Eve. Lots of good food and they loved their gifts. The boys loved what their brother Draven got them too. We put on a movie for them and while they watched that and played with their new toys, DH broke out the Cards Against Humanity game. That was super fun! Then they packed up the boys and their toys and headed home around 7:30pm. We relaxed and I crashed hard. Tried sleeping in but failed. DH never turned off his work day alarm and the dogs get roused up and so does Mr. Jackson so I'm like whatever.....I got things to do anyways.
Unloaded the dishwasher yesterday morning and loaded it up again and started it. Let the puppies get their gifts from Santa Paws. The girls got a 3-ft pickle with a Santa hat (saw it at PetCo marked DOOOOWWWWNNNNN) and it lasted probably 10 minutes. The Shelbster lost her mind and well, she was in quite the pickle!
Then we showered and left to go to DH's aunt and uncle's house for Christmas Dinner. We ate, visited, opened up gifts and had dessert. Then we left, got home after 7. Home to relax a bit more and we were both out like lights before 10pm.
Up early again (DH works today). Unloaded the dishwasher and let Jackson open his gifts. He was more interested in the empty bag and tissue paper but sure did love the catnip toys that were sticking out of his stocking. Went on my walk, showered and threw towels in the washer. Wasn't planning on working today but I got notice that the API my client's program uses to send out email and text released an update on Dec 21st. So I figured I'd do that TODAY before I forget as it would be difficult to that next week when her staff go back Jan 2nd. First tested on my machine (worked), then the server (worked). But then I ran into snags on the PC that runs her email system...but after some troubleshooting..go it going. So yay me! LOL.
Need to do laundry so I'll go and work on that today as well as start putting away Christmas stuffs.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Not much going on here... we are expecting heavy rain for the next 4-5 days so DH said he needed to take down the outside lights before it rained. So that is done. I'm organizing a list of a few challenges that I would like to work on when I get photos printed later. I have a few photos to take of projects too. That's it for me today!

Happy Boxing Day, all!!
I, for another one plan to have a chill day!! Picked up my kitchen. And now can sit and create.
Christmas was a wonderful day! DD and her crew came over and we had a yummy breakfast together and opened gifts. Top on my list was a heated vest for me to walk in. Also got a beautiful wooden board in the shape of Montana with the top cities carved into it. Thankfully, I had kept a big box to throw all the wrappings which really helps with the mess. They all left and I vacuumed the kitchen and living room. Had a quiet afternoon and they all came back for a yummy prime rib dinner! All, in all, a wonderful Christmas. Only missing part was DD #2 and I had a call from her.
It is grey and dull and maybe snow today!

I hope everybody had a great Christmas and start of Hanukkah! I still don't know if I'm coming or going LOL! Christmas was great - we had Aisling's BFF Alexa and her dad over for dinner. She had gone to their house for dinner Christmas Eve. The mom was flying out to San Diego to see their other daughter and family with 2 little grandsons on Christmas Day. The dad is a chef and brought over like 6lbs of penne ala vodka. It was/is soooo good. We have leftovers for days on top of the traditional turkey and trimmings.
Today is Aisling's 19th birthday - omg sniff sniff LOL! She and Alexa just left to go see Wicked. Later we are ordering from her fave Italian deli and Alexa and 1 other friend will be here. We've already made a chocolate cake and will decorate it this afternoon before they get back. My vision is to have a beautiful fluffy, glittery pink (strawberry) frosting on the outside and then on the inside is the devil's food cake with Wicked Witch green frosting on the inside like a gender reveal cake LOL! There is literally nowhere in the fridge for a decorated cake so we'll just leave it on the table as a decoration!

We had a wonderful Christmas Day. My oldest DD and DGD cooked the entire meal. My youngest daughter came early and helped with the rest of dinner. We ended up with 14 people and there was no drama. I slept in this morning and got up at 8:30 only because my Alexa is set for 8:30 to remind me to take my morning meds. Right now DH is taking his afternoon nap, my older DD and Emma are visiting her dad and stepmom (even though they were here yesterday) and my stepson is on a bike ride with one of his hometown buddies. They will all be back here later this afternoon but will be heading out a little later for Emma to spend more time with her local friends.
I'm in my scrap room and relaxing.

Christmas Day was super good. My widower BIL came early to see if he could help me with stuff, lol, and I put him to work! He is a sweet man not much older than my sons. He and my sister in law had no kids, his parents are dead, and his much older sisters never seem to include him in their family stuff so he is always part of our crew for every holiday/celebration.
when I was in Florida in the fall, I apparently admired people wearing a black sweatshirt with a white glitter skull on it (more than once)lol SO now I own one. And lol I do look cool in it. Haha.
fixin’ to shower and get to removing all the Christmas stuff and putting it back in the shed. Won’t take long since I only decorated the living room and the entry hall this year. Leaving the Christmas tablecloths on in both the kitchen and the dining room for a couple days though until I do laundry again. lol
enjoy a terrific Thursday and probably leftovers for dinner!!
