Here is this week's art journal sketch challenge!


Post your finished project by 11:59pm Eastern on Wednesday December 18th, 2024. One random winner will be awarded 1000 Cherry Points, while all other participants will receive 100 points.

I have a question about these, is it ok to use just one side of the sketch if I'm only doing one side? I often use art journals or travelers journals to make vacation albums and I often just do one side at a time. Also, with my garden journal, I don't have 2 sides of stuff to do at the same time.

I'm a little disappointed with how it turned out, but it's not the sketch's fault

I wondered how I was going to cover that blue checked paper that I used because my friend likes that shade of blue but wasn't happy with it once I sewed it in the journal.  Rachel's sketch gave me the idea of using the Summer Porch washi from 49 and Market.  I also included a decorated paperclip if my friend wants to clip something in the journal.  Mostly I hoard 49 and Market (why???) but I am so proud of myself for actually using it! LOL I decided on the right to make the elements a tuck for some journaling cards, using some more of my stash of 49 and Market.
I have a lot more to do with this journal before it is ready.  I have to have it done by Sunday the 22nd to give her.
