Welcome to the November 2024 month of this challenge - month 17, I am not sure how many more months this will run but it has been fun so far. I really did not think I would be able to make it run this long. I love looking at your unique stories about YOU. If you are new here, this challenge came about after a conversation with my 22 year old son about a certain event and how I did not want to include a "bad' picture of myself, there are many as a busy mom. He then asked that I include more of myself in our books. It occurred to me that we, the scrappers are usually behind the camera and often fail to scrap ourselves - this is a means to remedy that.
Sooooo....in light of that, this challenge is to get YOU in your albums, your kids albums, your grandkids albums, they want to see/hear YOU!!!
November is typically the month of gratitude, though really we should be practicing this all year right?
So this month...... I want you to create a layout about SOMETHING you are grateful for not SOMEONE. Something that is uniquely important to YOU!!! It cannot be people. yes family includes people. SOMETHING that you are grateful for in YOUR life. As our pets are considered family as well that is also a no-go. I think most of us consider our pets SOMEONES. There MUST be a picture of you somewhere on the layout.
Here is my example: This picture is me the day after Halloween with my music turned up high - the only way I can clean. These are the categories of playlists on my Amazon Prime Music. I am SOOOO grateful for music, all kinds!!
Must be a new layout, paper or digital, single or double page. Layouts only.
You can combine with ONE other challenge that allows it.
Limit ONE entry. THERE MUST BE A PICTURE OF YOU ON THE LAYOUT.
Please link your work here. Deadline is November 30, 2024. A , winner from all entries done correctly will be selected for a $5.00 ACOT gift card from me.

This is an awesome challenge! I love your ideas where I can visualize my girls in the future looking at my album and learning about and remembering their mama.

Nature surrounds my new home. I love seeing the deer and river otters and the pond that attracts the different birds.

Thankful for time…to spend with family, crafting, relaxing….
Does the picture have to be of my face, or can it be of my hand holding my coffee cup, sitting on my leg?
I think I'm going to have to say your face since everyone has already done it that way. A selfie maybe??

I am grateful that we moved to live close by our grandbabies. They make me feel younger everyday.

Ok - thanks! That works for me - I thought of another layout I'd like to do that I have selfie.
There are two things that are important to adding joy to my life. One is cruising and the other is crafting. So, since both are so important to me, being able to do both at the same time is awesome. I especially love sea days because there is so much to do and most cruises offer some type of crafting about every other day. It might be as incredible as diamond dots (my last cruise) or water coloring; sometimes it's a simpler activity like coloring. But I always "arrange my day" so I make it to crafts on time! People tell me they would be "bored" on a cruise ship - and I tell them they must be doing something wrong! The bottom photo is of my irl DC BFF and me at crafts.

I’m thankful for my creativity! Not only do I love to scrapbook but I also love creating Halloween costumes…I made both mine and my daughter’s costume back in 2014:
I am thankful for this hobby and also the chance to go to this annual crop where I can reconnect with friends from across the country,
(I am in the center photo in orange)
