Hi Cherries! It’s only 7:30 am here and Steve just got back from taking nephew Riley and baby Ryleigh. The guys got the permanent electrical done in the house! And they got all of the kitchen lights hooked up! They also got the master bathroom lights hooked up but didn’t have time to hook up the chandelier. :( We bought it in 2019 and I’ve never seen it lit up! Lolol! Someday! So exciting though that it’s another big step towards getting things complete enough to move in! And there’s been talk about a big family gathering in Ketchikan for the July 4th holiday. And Riley is encouraging them all to come over here for a big push. Either wood chopping, moving things or just having a great gathering. So we will see! I’d absolutely LOVE that!!

Riley also said he wants to bring Emily and Ryleigh over often to visit. That would be so awesome!!! Ryleigh and I had a good time for the most part. She’s never been away from Mom, she’s never even seen Steve and I, and Daddy kept leaving her with a strange lady. I got a big smile and some kisses this morning before they left. So I think she had a good time.

My plan today is to get the last bit of laundry done and to at least get some of the TT games done. I’m pretty sure I’ll need a nap before the end of the day…

Have a great day everyone!
I'm so glad you guys have had getting things situated up there! Lights are BIG plus! 😊 I hope you get to have family gatherings and even more help!
And Ryleigh is SUPER adorable!!! 🥰 I bet she did have a good time with you! 😊
Happy for all your good news! 😊

Good morning cherries! We've got a FREE day here too, which is nice. Already made a batch of hard boil eggs for the week, had breakfast (leftover quiche). Running dishwasher now. I'm planning on staying in my scrap room all day until dinner time. DH is grilling steaks and I'll make a couple of sides.

Finished my layout from yesterday afternoon for TT#2 and Wacky Holidays.

Off to work on another TT challenge!

Have a great day everyone.

Love the block of squares and how they are off to the side!

Hey Cherries 😊
I took another day off work- but I don't wanna complain about my ails too much! I'm gonna try to just get better as I hate missing out on work and I know my team needs me there! 🤷🏻
So, another day of hanging out at home. I'll probably work on some projects. I started a LO for a Turkey Trot challenge yesterday and love how it's looking!
I got my ACOT goodies yesterday and had fun playing! Lol!
Have a blessed day, Cherries! 🍒❤️😊
Feel better Holly.

Oh, my gosh.  Just getting a chance to check in.  It is terribly windy out today.  So far, wind gust up to 72mph.  It knocked our power out for about an hour and recently just came back on.  I hate it when it is this windy.  Obviously I am not walking today.

Just created 2 cards for the TT challenges.  Hope to work on layouts next.  Yesterday, I sewed together a table topper.  It will be a Christmas gift.  Next to sandwich it and then quilt it up.

Have an awesome Sunday, all!

Re: Scrap a Day, November 17th
Rewind (BF #399). I normally don't do rewinds but when this sketch was "active", I had the photos already set aside. So after doing some of the TT challenges, I figured I'd do this one before it gets buried.

ImageImage

This is definetly it for me. Wow! 4 layouts and a card! On top of putting some more of the boys' bday photos that I know I won't scrap into pocket page protectors. That way, they are still in the kiddos' albums.

I'm going to clean up and then it'll be ready for DH to fire up the grill while I get started on the sides.

See y'all tomorrow!
