I use my phone to take the photos, I send them to myself in a email so I can crop from my computer. I find it hard to edit on my phone.
But works out good for me.
Yep, with my eye sight, I need the larger monitor screen.trainmom wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 10:47 am
I used to do that, now I edit them on my phone. If I scan it or photograph with with a regular camera, then I still edit on my computer. I've gotten proficient at editing with my thumbs but they're not nearly as precise as the mouse with the bigger screen.

Thanks! I plan to get a good night's sleep tonight! LOL!
Breauxlabs wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 10:52 amI hate technology! I also use my phone for all my photos. I use the scan option, save to photos and then upload to my gallery. I haven't figured out how to edit so it is what it is
I've never used it in the scan mode so it will be new to me! I will still send to my computer to edit.

Thanks Holly!
Technical issues are so frustrating. I think we all get that! I take all my photo's with my iphone and with a little editing for lighting, they come out pretty good. I'm sure it will all turn out fine and in the end we'll all have fun.

VickiR wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 9:23 amUgh! I have all of my projects ready for the TT tomorrow. Monday I was recovering from the 4 day crop and waited until Tuesday to start taking pictures. I got 1 done and edited before we had to pick up the grandkids after school. So yesterday I tried to load more onto my computer and they won't load!!! NOOOO! I tried the camera cards (2 of them) in both of my computers and it won't load in either so I know it's not the "reader" on the computer. The cards are relatively new and since I tried both and neither works, I don't think it's the cards. I get a flash- like photo for a second that looks like it's going to load and then nothing. So, my photos tomorrow will be with my phone and not sure how they will turn out. I am so frustrated. I was up until 3 this morning trying to figure it out.
I am so sorry you are having so much trouble and frustration. I don't work on a PC I work on a Mac but I can give you some ideas to try that I do when things go awry like this.
When anything starts acting crazy first thing I do is reboot. But I see you tried two different computers so that seems like it would not help the issue since it is happening on both, but it's worth a shot.
Do you have anything on your phone that lets you transfer photos with WiFi or Bluetooth? We can receive an AirDrop from an iPhone where we can transfer a photo from one phone to another using WiFi or Bluetooth. AirDrop can also be used to transfer a photo from an iPhone to a Mac. Maybe you have something similar on a PC?
Can you transfer your photos to the cloud and then download them from the cloud to your computer?
Just some thoughts. They could be things that you already tried or don't apply to your situation, but figured I'd throw them out there just in case maybe they help.
It is crazy that you have two computers and two cards and they are all having the same problem. I feel your frustration it sucks when technology fails you and there is no explanation why. Ugh. Good luck and don't worry… omg I just had a thought!… what if you upload your photos from your phone to ACOT, then right click on it in your gallery and chose "save image to downloads" or whatever it says for a PC. You may be able to get them on your computer that way. I don't know if ACOT resizes them smaller but it's worth a shot.

I am having the same problem with my phone, it will not transfer data...it is VERY frustrating!! I don't know if you have Dropbox but if you have the pictures on your phone and the Dropbox app you can save it to Dropbox then get it from the website on your computer. It is a pain that has been working for me until I figure this out.VickiR wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 9:23 amUgh! I have all of my projects ready for the TT tomorrow. Oh gosh, I get it. Look out when technology is not cooperating with me LOL. And I'm not savvy with it either. I take my layout photos with my iphone then send them to my email then I do everything from my laptop. But different things work for different people and when you get used to doing something your way and it doesn't work it is SO frustrating. Good luck and hope everything goes ok, don't stress over it we are all so flexible. I'll be in and out through the day!

Thanks so much Barb. I did try all of those things with my desktop and laptop. I can transfer photos from my phone to my computer, but would rather use my camera vs. phone camera. I will make it work. Just so frustrating. My oldest daughter is my IT person. She's such a wiz, but is leaving on Monday for FL for 10 days and doesn't have time before they go. No worries though. I will get it done!pawprints wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 2:13 pmVickiR wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 9:23 amUgh! I have all of my projects ready for the TT tomorrow.
