Hey Cherries. Another very long day yesterday. Spent time with my mom, then had to go to her house to take care of some things. DS and I didn’t get home until 8:00 last night, then had to deal with the no internet problem. Was on a chat with support for at least an hour and we tried everything with the new modem and still nothing. So now they have to send a technician. I don’t even know if I can be home depending on my mom. This is so frustrating. So we have no internet, no WiFi and because of that no tv. I just don’t need this right now.

Going to go be with my mom this morning, then have to come home and make alot of phone calls. And somehow pay bills with no internet. Thank goodness I have my phone to use. Tech is supposed to come tomorrow.

Quiet day for us today.  I have some phone calls to make because we are in the process of changing cable service.  Not a lot available around us, but something has to be better than what we have.  I am so fed up with Comcast.  They upgraded in our area and the service is worse, not better.  My computer loses internet at least 5-6 times a day and the cost is almost tripled in 7 years.  Ugh!!  Making appointments to check out other services.  Technology is great most times, but seriously frustrating when its not working properly.

Quiet day for us today.  I have some phone calls to make because we are in the process of changing cable service.  Not a lot available around us, but something has to be better than what we have.  I am so fed up with Comcast.  They upgraded in our area and the service is worse, not better.  My computer loses internet at least 5-6 times a day and the cost is almost tripled in 7 years.  Ugh!!  Making appointments to check out other services.  Technology is great most times, but seriously frustrating when its not working properly.

if the problem is just your computer, it might  not be Comcast, it could be the wifi network within your house. I used to work on cable technology and I understand how most of it actually works. Give me a call if you want some suggestions. My frustration with Comcast is it is impossible to get an actual human on the phone and the bots just tell you to reboot your modem over and over again. But Comcast service is good in the city because we are near the headquarters and their executives live here.

I enjoyed my nothing day yesterday and did a bit of scrapping. I have a pretty slow day today as well but I have a few errands.

these pages are actually different sizes, the one with the journaling is much smaller and it will open up to show 2 more whale photos, which I will be doing today, probably. I really enjoy working with these mixed up albums, it is sort of like puzzle figuring out which type and size of page to use with which photos.

I always show stuff like this to my hubby.   We have ATT and he hates it.  We wants to switch to Comcast so bad and I never hear anything good about them either.

Thanks for the info!  Yes, rebooting is again and again.  It is next to impossible to get a human to talk with for sure.  We have our phone, security, internet and TV service with them.  The house phone is going away.  We had that for my mother when she was with us.  I will check into the wifi network.  Thanks again.  We're still just disgusted with how they keep raising prices.  I'm sure it's because there are so many other resources now.

Good morning cherries. Sorry some of y'all are having internet and/or cable issues. Good luck with everything.

Yesterday, DH and I had a lazy day. We really weren't in the mood to do anything. HAD plans to do stuff, but it never happened. We were busy and not home Saturday and we got home late. Slept in yesterday, and I made breakfast and started the dishwasher. DH and I went out to put up some Halloween decorations. Afterwards, we got caught up with some of our shows. Then it was time for dinner and while dinner cooked, I unloaded the dishwasher. Then we showered and watched more shows. LOL.

Already took care of some emails that came in late Friday evening. DH has his A1C f/up appt this morning. I squeezed in some time while drinking my coffe to work on the progressive challenge. Love how it turned out!

Good morning everyone

Busy weekend for sure.  
We won our football game Friday night!  What an exciting game!  We are headed to the playoffs and found out Saturday that we will have to travel to Washington, Illinois - a 2 hour drive for us.  Not a problem because it's the playoffs!!!

I spent Saturday with my daughter and Granddaughter.  Did a little bit of shopping and hung out for a while. DGD is being very stubborn and is not walking yet.  She is 14 months old, but she was a month premature, so docs said just give it a little more time.  And boy oh boy, has she got some speed while crawling...lol!
Saturday night we had dinner with friends.  It was an early night as I wanted to get an early start on my Sunday.

Sunday was so busy.  After I scrubbed down the kitchen, I started doing lots of meal prep to stock the freezer a bit.  Stuff I completed:
Broccoli and cheddar soup
Sheperds pie
tater tot casserole
chicken pot pie
breakfast bowls
lasagna
spice cake
chocolate chip cookies
sugar cookies

I took a break and unfortunately couldn't find the energy to get back to it.  my feet hurt!  lol

so tonight I am hoping to continue since I have the vegetables already to go:
chicken enchiladas
chicken noodle soup
beef vegetable soup

I still have a list of soups and casseroles to make, I just ran out of Pyrex, so I'm just going to buy some aluminum pans.

And somehow I managed to get a page done and 2 loads of laundry..lol.  Explains why my feet hurt.  At least the hip pain seems to have subsided.  I was feeling it more in my upper thigh.  Talking with a friend, I'm wondering if it's more the sciatic nerve acting up...idk.  Getting old sucks.

Well quiet at last.  DD, her hubby and the grandkids are gone to work and school.  I’m only used to it being me and the cat. lol.  The teenager is coming back after lunch - he has been out at his dad’s but he is on Independent study so will mostly b in his room on the computer. 

it is grey and to me beautiful out. I love fall.  Never mind it’s going to b 84 today.  Weather at home is 10 degrees cooler lol and going to rain for sure Wednesday night so wet leaves for trick or treaters.  My DD has gradually gotten me to extend my visit to 3 weeks over last 3-4 years so I’m always here for Halloween now. 

no plans today or all week other than Halloween Thursday. Walk down and meet the kids at the bus stop late afternoons. I start early and do my daily walk too.  Saturday though is booked solid with DGDs basketball game in the morning. Then DD and I are going to Stetson Estate for tour and over to Cocoa Village for shopping.

Good morning everyone

It's crazy how much we rely on our internet and when it isn't working right, it's all so frustrating!!!  Hope you guys get your issues figured out.  

I headed out this morning to get groceries and my flu shot.  Back home with all my stuff put away.  Need to put my sheets in the dryer now , too.  DH headed off with a coffee buddy to drive into the mountains to see the trees.  I was invited, but didn't want to spend my day in the back seat.  

It's another crazy windy day for us.  sun is shining and to reach the 50's.

Nothing going on here. I just finished this week's challenge and going to start another. I've been digging into older stash so I can put a dent in all this stuff so I can start a huge organization and cleaning in January 2025!!

It’s mind boggling how much internet costs these days!!! We only have 3 choices and they’re all expensive. Starlink is one that everyone raves about because it even works on the fishing boats. But it’s $500 to get it started and you have to install it yourself. But it does really work well. We need that money for house things so we went with a local company that has fiber optics and it awesome! I pay the same amount monthly as I paid with HughesNet but we get unlimited data so no slowdowns at the end of the month.
