I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE THE COLOR SET SHE GOT ME THE COLORS ARE BLUE, PINK, AND GREEN............................ I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE THE COLORS AND THEY HAVE LIKE A GLITTER LOOK TO THEM....................... I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MORE OF THE SAMPLER SETS THAT ARE ON MY WISHLIST........................... Oh speaking of mystery boxes...I ordered the Echo Park mini mystery box ($75 for $35) and when it came handed it directly to DH and told him it was a Christmas gift for me. To open with DD and see what they want to do. That's the easiest Christmas shopping for him LOL!!!  And now I don't have to feel guilty about it!!!

the new holding policy is wonderful for me because I have trouble receiving packages. I've been placing little orders since August and I think it is finally shipping next week. Some of it is new goodies but some of it is essentials and one of the items is my card week prize. I can't wait to get my hands on all of it. Hopefully I'll be home when it comes before the porch pirates get it.

this new order-holding policy has been lethal for my pocketbook  seems like i no sooner get one box then i receive a shipping notice for the next one!

I had the Cocoa Vanilla Great Outdoors line in my cart for months, finally ordered it on free shipping day. Do I need it...NO but I love Cocoa Vanilla so much I HAD to buy it!!

I just did a "teeny" order using my points and GCs and ended up only paying $4 lol. I ordered PHotoplay's Gamer collection as well as the sticker sheet and solids paper pack from Bella Blvd's Teen Vibe Carson line. These will be great to scrap DD's Halloween pics from the past 2 years - she went as Mario and Luigi with one friend last year and as Mordecai and Rigby (from The Regular Show and they play video games and I made some "joysticks" for their costumes) last year. Plus I have tons of pics over the years of both my kids gaming. It's already been shipped so now I have to actually order those pictures LOL!!

love both of those collections!  i have the gamer sticker sheet--i might even have 2 oops--and received a wee bit of the carson line in my monthly kits but i've been trying to control myself (ha, see what i did there??).  

Haha! I see what you did there   I thought the Carson stuff went really well with the gamer collection. It was hard to control myself too LOL. I put a lot in the "save for later" basket. I wanted to just use my points & GCs. Now I have to go cherry picking hard

let me know how the gold splatter is.  i saw it and am intrigued!  i mean, i only have like 3 spare bottles of heidi swapp gold color shine and am trying desperately to finish my jen hadfield gold glitter spray, but i might need a new gold ink in about 10 years    

I haven't used it yet, but opened it.  I was surprised to see that it's actually a glass dropper?  Not sure how that's going to work.  I may be putting it into a spritz bottle.  However, the gold color is amazing.

I have 2 color shine and I think they have a little more fluid consistency IMO.  The gold seems a bit thicker.  I used it last night with the dropper....   It seriously came out in drops, not splatters.  So, I tried using a paint brush and because the consistency is a bit more dense than most mists, it was difficult to splatter without having a really wet brush.  I think the next time I use it, I will add a tiny bit of water so it is more like a mist or the shine.   I let it run so it would dry faster because the drops were taking forever and I didn't want to use a heat gun.  Maybe I should have....LOL!  It would have splattered more. 

Here's a picture of what I'm working on.  The larger blobs were the drops that I let run because it was a ridiculous amount of time waiting for them to dry.  The smaller dots are splatters from a paint brush.  I had to use a lot of the liquid on the brush in order to get it to even splatter.  So, IMO, the gold is amazing, but I plan to water it down a bit the next time I use it.  And, they need to change out the dropper!

I purchase the recommended items from the fabulous cherries to do embroidery on my cards and layouts.  I know it's shipped so...excited.

I also have all the new Doodlebug in my wishlist...lol.  Might be buying for a gift under the xmas tree.  

it's always exciting waiting for new goodies     i hope you enjoy stitching.  i honestly dread it and question my sanity when i plan to do it, but then i actually enjoy the stitching process lol.  just don't use extremely long pieces of embroidery floss because that stuff knots up like crazy and sometimes it's a bugger to straighten it out.

Such a great tip for a newbie like me.  I would have totally did a long piece thinking that would be smartest.  Thank you so much for the tip, this will save me!  LOL

Did you buy that platform here at ACOT?  I know I need the extended platform for the die I won.

that's a bummer  but at least it's a relatively easy fix.  the color is lovely!

for me at least that magnetic platform is a game-changer! so much easier than fiddling with bits of washi to hold things in place!

It's been so long that I don't remember...LOL!  I don't think it was from ACOT because I've had it for about 10 years.  ACOT does carry both the magnetic and extended magnetic platforms.

I have not bought anything so far...  So msny things I want though!!
I think it was a bit easier for me to not spend so far in Oct, because I really 
have not been online.  Having issues getting emailes again this month (thanks Comcast!)
and going on over a week on bad ankle, can hardly bear weight still.  My few flights a day
are still bathroom breaks and kitchen for fresh water or yogurt, and making sure Chloe has
not had an accident in the house.  She is 9 months, but for the first week that we had her, it
rained literally cats and dogs!  There was no training, just drinking from the puddles.  On snd 
on.  She hates the hot summer days and we have full sun in the back of the house.  I came
home from my Aug crop sick. And now, over a week with badly bruised ankle because she
walks right on top of me and is so heavy.  She steps on my foot ll the time.  Anyway, I am
starting to hobble around this week and spenight tham 5 minutes in the scrap room!

But, just before the ankle, I started clearing out the scrao room to add a new cabinet, and start
making space for 12x12 boxes of  scrap stuff to purge, condense, etc.  To date, no LO's done,
but plan to start a few in the morning!

I bought what I needed of the Simple Stories BoHo Christmas to get my December Daily together.  It should deliver today.
My previous one isn't complete yet, and it's from 2020!  But, I need some joy and positivity and fresh in my world so I started there.  I am going to use my craft space to pull myself out of this funk!

Same here, Sarah!  The only DD that I've ever done is from 2021 and it has 3 pages that need finished.  I'm determined to "get it done" at my upcoming crop weekend.
