It is my sweet Mom's birthday, so we are watching our Buckeyes at noon and having a tailgate lunch.  Shredded chicken sandwiches, assorted charcuterie, and dips/chips.

Laundry is going, and after breakfast, DH and I will go vote. From there, we have 2 errands to run. PetCo for dry dog food and Harbor Freights for something that DH wants to get (He told me last night but I wasn't listening. You cannot expect me to enjoy my chips and salsa and margarita and listen at the same time )

Home to finish up laundry, tidy up my office desk. Then at 4pm, head out to Aransas Pass (about 40 mins away from us) to have dinner with my (step) dad and his GF.

Good morning early risers! I too have a load in the laundry. Oatmeal with sausage and berries for breakfast. My little one has a birthday rendezvous to attend today as well. Best wishes to your mama @Art_Teacher && Hope you have a good time at the birthday dinner @blbabe2234 Then I have plans to dive into my first Dec daily album I got the goods from ACOT yesterday so I'm eager to play! I wanted to be a trooper and do trunk or treat last night too but even though I'm not officially in my 3rd trimester, I sure feel like it lol Although I only took my girls to enjoy, I'm still beat from it

No big plans here. The DH’s old Gold Wing motorcycle has been taking over the garage for several weeks now. He needed to replace the starter. After finally getting some bolts loose he got the old one out and new one fit in place. Now he has to rewire and replace belts. Grandson #1 coming over to help. And then get it moved in its storage spot in the garage. Clean up his mess so I can park my Pilot in there.

I got my cookies baked yesterday, so we are all set to decorate tomorrow!

Suppose to be a little warmer over the weekend with those Chinook winds blowing off the Rocky Mountain front. Hang on to our hats today!

Happy Birthday to your Momma!  We don't have anything on the agenda today after an early morning appointment.  Beautiful weather day and there's a lot of activity in the area with Halloween trunk or treats everywhere.  Our GKs will be here for a bit this evening and our DGD is spending the night.  I will be taking her to help with a local Halloween event tomorrow while her mom takes her brother to his Lacrosse Tournament at University of Delaware.  Working on some future projects for my challenge blog today and finishing up step 4 of the progressive challenge.

I was going to clean out the bedroom closets and swap out all the warm weather clothes for the cold weather clothes, but . . . they say we will be flirting with 80 next week, so I will wait a bit longer.

I'm going to make a few freezer meals today, starting with Swiss and White Cheddar mac and cheese with bacon!  I've never made it with 2 cheeses before, so I hope I get it right.  And, if I don't, how bad can it be?  Warm noodles with gooey cheese has to be yummy whatever the portions, right?

We are having crab legs and corn for lunch.  Then we are watching the Texas game.  I'm  involved in 3 separate  swaps, so will be working on those this weekend.  Also, got the weekly  laundry started.

Afternoon everyone!  Happy birthday to your mom!!
I went to a friends house today, a group of 5 of us got together and made some cards.  I love getting together with crafty friends.  Came home and ate a bowl of leftover broccoli cheese soup with the hottie hubbs and now I'm vegetating in front of my computer, catching up on the forum while he reads the news on his phone.  I should get off the computer and go in my craft room and get my craft on.  Feels more like a nap day.  We'll see which one wins out.

I have a gazillion things I want/need to get done. Steve went to town to get the new heater and another box with several things I need - one of those things being a package of card blanks without envelopes because the ones I ordered before weren’t cards. They were just white cardstock cut to 5x7. But it said cards!!! Grrr! So now I can start working on my Christmas cards at last!

l need to get the cabin ready for guests arriving on Friday. Lots to do there as Steve and I will be moving to the house at last!!! I’ll still have to cook and do dishes in the cabin but at least i will be spending a lot more time over there. 

i have more layouts to put into albums and a lot of work to do in the house to help get it finished. 

Lots of back and forth for awhile but it won’t be for too long I hope!!!

We got a lot done today!  I got the stovetop cleaned really well.  Steve and an 11 year old friend and I got the extra room cleaned out which is a BIG deal because it became the catch all room because we didn't have room for it in the cabin!  And I am finishing the layout now.  I'll need to cook dinner in a bit and then I'm going to work on my print and cut files for my Christmas cards to get ready to work on them tomorrow.  It has been a very productive day!

This was the craziest day.  Our youngest did a fun run this morning, and I did my first 5K race.  Then I attended a Celebration of Life for a friend, headed straight to our annual trunk or treat with the kids, and now they are off with the hubby to see Newsies.  Plus, my daughter made three loaves of bread, a batch of shredded chicken in the crockpot, and some apple chips, and my son filled in a ditch in our backyard where we had been doing some work.  Whew!  What a day!

We went to the haunted house today. DD and BFF dressed as Carmie and Richie from the Bear and looked great. The haunted house was great, as usual and I'll have to update more tomorrow because I'm literally falling asleep at the keyboard LOL!
