Good morning Cherries.  Slept in this morning until 9, which is late for me. Did my usual routine of car wash, vacuum and gas then strolled around Home Goods for a bit trying to get inspired to really start Christmas shopping. Other than finishing the laundry, I will be scrapping today until the Chiefs game  🏈

Sounds like a great day Kristin! Have fun scrapping. And hope the game is good. :)

Hey Cherries 😊
I'm feeling a bit better today! Taking lots of meds! Work kicked my tail last night, too! I went back to sleep this morning after I fed my babies.
I'm off today, and am FINALLY feeling good enough to get something done! I have to take pictures of things and upload them, and so I have had to take some things off my phone lol my phone takes better photos than my tablet.
Omer is going to work on his truck some more - he had to go get more bolts yesterday. IDK much about mechanics, but I KNOW it seems that it's ALWAYS something! 😂 I REALLY feel for him though, because I KNOW he's VERY frustrated. (AND likes to do it all himself! LOL men!)
Maybe I'll get some more scrappy stuff done today. Idk. I've been window shopping again! 😂 These sales are VERY tempting! 😂
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️😊

Yay for feeling better Holly!! And for getting things done too. I hope that Omer can get the truck working again. Sounds like you’re having a good day.

The weather here is perfect!  Why can't it stay like this year round?  I love the 75 degree days and 50 degree nights.  I'm in the process of making lists and organizing for a November crop coming up quickly.  My sister will be here and I can hardly wait to see her.  It was a year in August since we were together.  With her DH going through chemo, she wasn't really able to go anywhere and visiting wasn't an option.  He is now cancer free...prayers answered.  So, we are very much looking forward to 4 days of sister time!  Off to get some papers packed...

Vicki, sounds like perfect weather ! And how wonderful that your BIL is cancer free!!! And to be able to have time with your sister is so awesome!!! Have fun getting ready for your crop.

Back up to low 80’s through Wednesday but shorter days and cooler nights make it very nice weather.   About time weather gets really nice and cool and lovely fall, lol, I’ll b on a plane for 3 weeks in hot old semi tropical Florida for my yearly visit with DD and the grandkids.  Oh well

the Local Moose Lodge craft fair was a lot of fun. Small, neighborly and friendly  I got some homemade apricot cardamom jam, a cute manly bbq potholder for YDS who is the grill master type, and a cool thingie to attach to my key ring with what else but Moose’s on it!  All proceeds from the fair are donated to a children’s charity locally.  A win win enjoyable afternoon.

going to lunch today with old friend.  Then just spend a quiet week getting ready for the trip.  Bank stuff, hold the mail, make sure to have all Rx’s filled, packing etc.  most important I guess is to not order any scrappy stuff on impulse this week. Hahaha.

have a serene Sunday

I’m glad the weather has cooled off! The craft fair sounds like it was a lot of fun. How wonderful that they donate proceeds to a local children’s charity too! Have fun getting ready for your trip.

Barb, you are soooo very welcome. Anytlime! So many HUGS!!! Its never fun to get a phone call regarding a parent at that hour.

I was about to say Good Morning, but never mind...so Good afternoon cherries! Been busy, as usual. Yesterday, got 6 loads of laundry done, on top of running errands. Our Big Lots is closing and each week, they keep having more and more % off on products. I got some bathroom hand towels to replace a very old ones (both bathrooms are using towels that are 18 yrs old! Ack!). They are no longer soft! LOL. But the ones I bought at Big Lots were. And at $2 a piece, you can't beat that! So I got 10 of them. 2 of each color that I picked up. :) I also got some Christmas Paper plates/napkins for a great price as well as a couple of toys for the boys. Those were at 25% off. Can't beat that. Then I moved onto HL to check out ornaments for gifts. But I only had found a couple....

Today, after breakfast and making a batch of eggs, I ran into town. M's to look at their ornaments. Eh..but still found 2, which allowed me to check off 2 friends off the list. Then onto Earthwise Pets to get Penny her CBD Oil and her special birthday treat. The lady had doggie pumpkin pie and doggie cool whip, how cool is that!?!! Then onto Joann to see what their ornament situation looked like. Even more..ugh...I actually walked out of there empty handed.

Then I moved onto AtHome and ding, ding! Had better luck! Got Jasper an ornament and ornaments for a few others. So now all I have left (ornament-wise) is one for Draven and one for Anton! Back on the road and headed home.

The rest of the day is MINE until its time to make dinner, so I did Step #3 of the Progressive Challenge. Got that uploaded and now I'm planning on working on the BF sketch.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Brandy, sounds like you’ve got a good head start on your Christmas shopping! Have fun playing! You’ve earned it with all you’ve been doing!!!

Hey Cherries! It’s NOT raining!!! Lol! The weather is definitely changing though. We’re going to be in the 30s at night all week. May get down to freezing tonight and tomorrow. Ugh!

I seem to have picked up a bug of some sort. Super sick all day yesterday. Feeling better today so far but I haven’t tried eating anything yet. Steve went to town and got our packages yesterday and the living room hanging lights and the bedroom lights are here! But I still haven’t seen them! So he’s going to bring them in so I can open the box.

I’m hoping I can start on the Sn@p albums today. Need to find more pictures from DD and her dad on Facebook and download them. Then I need to decide if I want to order prints or do them myself.

Hope you’re all having a fabulous day!!!!

Hey Cherries. Thank you for posting for me yesterday Brandy. After a long day on Friday I ended up going over to my mom’s around 2am and spending the night there. She was having what I am hoping was a reaction to the new med she was taking. So I stayed all night with her. I really hardly slept because I was in a recliner and I can’t sleep sitting up. I got home around 9am and just crashed. I was so washed out all day I basically slept most of the day. Still feeling washed out even this morning. Hoping to get myself on the exercise bike to get going.

On a happier note I had fun going to trunk or treat with DD and JJ and Aiden and Aiden’s friend on Friday night. It was at JJ’s elementary school parking lot and it was the first time I have been to one. There were so many cool trunks and the kids had fun. And when we got back to DD’s house they surprised me with an early birthday celebration! It was so sweet. Maddie had decorated while we were gone and we had pizza and cake and doggie decorations and it was all so fun!

I have so much to do around the house that I have gotten backed up on, and yesterday I was so washed out I did none of it. I hope to have more energy today and get it done. I also want to do step 3 of the progressive challenge today too. So I need to perk up and get it done.

Have a great day Cherries.

Glad to hear your mum was Ok.  Scary, I bet.
The trunk or treat sounds like fun.  Know my grandkids have participated in those before.

Staying busy today.  Worked on a couple of layouts and got a bunch I had finished uploaded to my gallery.
It's a pretty nice day out, although a little windy. But when it is over 70 in October in Montana you take advantage and get outside stuff done.  Got outside and vacuumed the car out and wiped everything down.  The water was filthy. But,  my rig is all set for winter.  Had a visit from the minion as her dad was picking up his chain saw.  And I found his lost ear buds in my car when I was working on it.  Did some pick up in the backyard.  Putting cushions away for winter.  Dh brought in hoses the other day and covered up our AC unit.  Still lots of leaves on the trees, so not ready to rake those up yet.

Now back in and will continue playing in my scrap space.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 20th
I've been copy editing all day so far. I'm about to take a break to do some ironing for the week. There are Watch Parties tonight and tomorrow (if necessary) at the stadium but I didn't put in to work them. On the one hand, the vibe is crazy and fun but on the other hand, I'd like to actually SEE the game and not get home after midnight, esp with DH having to be at work early tomorrow.

As for crafting, I did do little bits here and there on a layout I've had on my desk for the Graphic Design challenge. Another page for my Mets album - a picture DD and I took in the "photo booth" at the staff party last month. And I'll have my cross-stitching out during the Mets and checking in on the Jets tonight. I'm already biting my nails LOL!

Thanks Ginni.  I know she is as anxious as I am.  Since my mom passed she really leans on me as the older sister and she's been strong for so long and now just wants to  let go.... Lots of hugs and tears, I'm sure.

This isn't for any challenge (except 100 Papers and Prompt), but I used up a bunch of scraps on this one. I don't think I have anymore of the Bella Blvd collection now, except for tiny scraps and puffies.

Might be able to get another page done...who knows! Let's see what happens. :)
