October Double Page Challenge
Happy October!  This month's challenge doesn't have a sketch to work from but instead is inspired by this layout by Shimelle (from way back in 2013!):
Image

The requirement this month is to use 6x6 papers. (You don't have to scraplift Shimelle's or any of my layouts.) If you don't have the smaller pads, you can just cut your full size paper down. You must use a minimum of 4 squares.  You can trim up to 1/4" off the sides if you want to have a border, but otherwise, you must use the papers as full squares.

For those of you doing the bi-monthly prompts challenge, this will also help you check off prompt #1, and I see that it will also get you a stash point for the team challenge!

Here is one I did last night using 4 sheets:

and a couple other examples that I've done in the past (of course, your layout must be new):

The 6x6 papers are versatile and an easy way to add different patterns to your background. Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

RULES:
1. Must be a 2-page layout (paper or digital).
2. All submissions must be added to this thread.
3. ONE ENTRY PER CHERRY.
4. Can be combined with one other challenge that allows it plus the bi-monthly prompt challenge.
5. Due 10/31/2024, but I'll accept anything loaded before I pick winners on November 1.
6. I'll choose a winner for a $10 GC to ACOT!

Of course you can scraplift, but it's not a requirement.  The only requirement is to use 4 or more 6x6 squares.  I'm hoping to see some unique ones so that I can scraplift them in turn, lol!

Good question!  What about 4x4 so you can get 2 squares to fit across each page?

I used 4 6x6 papers in the middle, but they were covered by the photos. LOL

Re: October Double Page Challenge
You know I gotta keep my streak going!!! Actually - since I do so many 2 page layouts, your challenge is perfect to inspire me. So many sketches are primarily single pages. And you pick such great (and sometimes challenging!!) ones!

I used only 6x6 papers from my Echo Park 6x6 Witches & Wizards pack. I only bought it to make cards for my Potterhead 9yo DGD while she was at camp. Normally I don't tend to buy a lot of 6x6 packs because I never know how to use them, but I loved how this came out! Guess I'll be buying more. (Plus they did make great cards!)
