Scrap a Day, October 16th
Hey Cherries. Another chilly day here. I have a dentist appointment then have some errands to run. Maybe I’ll get to do some scrapping later today. We’ll see how it goes.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good Morning, Barb!
Our last warm day, probably of the season. We shall see.

Need to do laundry and run a couple of errands. Tomorrow DH has a colonoscopy, so I will be tied up with that.

Not sure if I will get to scrap, but have a layout on my desk I started. Also cutting out stuff to make Christmas cards.

Have a great day everyone.

It is chilly here this morning as well! It feels so nice!
Good luck at the dentist!  I went yesterday and it was not as easy as they claimed it would be.  Oh well, at least I am home and can let my mouth heal a bit before work tomorrow.
Hopefully your experience is MUCH better!

Hey Cherries 😊 😁
I've been tired- fighting off a cold I think. I went back to sleep after feeding the cats this morning. I don't want to work today, but I do need the money lol so I suppose I'll go! 😅 (Really have been trying to go unless I feel absolutely terrible! I hate to leave the others short-handed, even though technically we're a skeleton crew as it is.)
They've been doing some remodeling at work - they're moving all the tobacco to the inside of the front of the savalot and gonna use the tobacco shed side as storage and office space, I suppose. My biggest complaint is that the time clock is ALL the way in the back of the store now lol! It takes a few minutes to walk back there lol!
Right now I'm having some coffee and catching up around here. I work at 5 again so that's why I slept in. I would like to call in and JUST do arts and crafts today, but adulting it is! 🤷‍♀️ 😂 😂 😂
Have a great day, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️☺️

Re: Scrap a Day, October 16th
My day started at 4:30 this morning.  DD had a meeting in D.C. at her main office and had to leave at 5:15 to get to the local base and ride with everyone else on a bus.  It takes me 40 minutes to get to her house, so I was up and out to get there when she needed to leave.  Got both of the GKs off to school, made a stop at Joann's, had a hair appt. and was home by 11:30.  I worked on my progressive challenge LO and now relaxing a little before we leave at 4:30.

Today is our 48th wedding anniversary and we are going to our favorite restaurant, Backfin Blues, in the historical town of Port Deposit for dinner.  At least I don't have to worry about cooking tonight.  Then, I'm sure I'll be in bed early to recover from this morning.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 16th
Hello Cherries! Much better day today. Thankfully. We have a bunch of packages to pick up. But I overdid things yesterday and I was too stubborn to get up last night and take anything so now I’m hurting. Could be a lot worse though.

We tried to get the geese into the old goose coop and almost got them there but just a few feet away they went down into the pond and wouldn’t come out. So we just left them alone and eventually they made their way back to the area where all the birds have been living. And all but 1 made it into the run and into the coop just fine. But that one goose was being especially stupid and we had to run around to get it cornered into the place where it could only go through the run door. Ugh!!! So all that took awhile.

Several of our packages are ready for pickup including the pictures I ordered and an ACOT order! So now I’ll have everything to make the albums for my grandsons’ trip to Nashville- especially the go kart place. And I’ll have everything I need to start working on my Christmas cards too! So proud of myself for not waiting until the last minute! So Steve has run to town to pick everything up for me.

Hopefully I’ll be able to sort all the goodies (including some albums for all those layouts I made!) and maybe I can even play a bit. :)

Hope you’re all having a good day!!!

Re: Scrap a Day, October 16th
The moon tonight and tomorrow is a Super Hunter's Moon - the closest and brightest full moon of 2024 - about 30% brighter than a regular full moon.

But probably won’t get to see it much tonight because for goodness sakes, it is grey, cold and actually raining here. Looks like fall outside for first time this year.  Long sleeve blouse and socks on even.  Thinking about getting some hamburger out of freezer and starting a pot of veggie soup.  Woohoo.   (Remind me of this  around end of January lol)

so doing very little today -maybe a bit of tidying but house has stayed pretty clean after the ants I had a few weeks ago so maybe make a couple cards or even sit on sofa and watch old cop show reruns.

have a wicked good Wednesday

Thank you. It was just a routine cleaning and some x-rays, so it went well. I hope your pain subsides soon.

Thanks Ginni.  It takes 40 minutes to get to her house and she had to leave by 5:30.  The middle school GD gets the bus at 6:40 and DGS gets his st 8.
