The Northern Lights were quite spectacular in central MT last evening. And still dancing across the sky at 5am this morning

I'm SO jealous! I think I live too close to the city lights to see anything. I might drive out to the more mountainous area because I would love to see the Northern Lights at least once in my lifetime! Beautiful photos. Did I mention? I am SO jealous!
Those are amazing pictures! My daughter and I went outside every 30 minutes or so from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM hoping to catch a glimpse. We saw on the news that they were really dancing across the sky right over downtown Cleveland (along the Lake Erie shoreline). We are 35 miles west and a couple miles inland but we didn't see anything spectacular -- we did see the sky glowing red and pink at one point. They say they will be active tonight as well, but it's supposed to get cloudy.
Again, those pics are fabulous!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
GORGEOUS!
And here I am the Cherry from Alaska and we couldn’t see a thing because of the clouds. I’m jealous too!!! But so glad you got to see them!

Stunning! I was not able to see them last night because I live in a suburban area. If they are active tonight, I may venture out to a local park where they have less lights.
Here's the view from my backyard in Central NY. It was so clear you could even see the stars through it. The entire sky was purple with splashes of pink and green by the horizon

These are stunning photos. I had to think how some get tornados and hurricanes, and at the same time the sky is stunning in another part of our world. What a strange great world though.
