Who knew it was National Coffee Day? Not me. Not until I moseyed out of bed, got my java and started reading emails.

So, since I can't share a cuppa in real life--how about a quick challenge?

Rules are simple. Time frame is short.

Make something with a coffee theme and post it to this thread before midnight EST 09/29/2024. Tick-tock, tick-tock  10 minutes to go, that's why this is a FLASH challenge, just for fun.

Can be cards, layouts, tags, journal pages, bookmarks, home decor, whatever floats your coffee boat!

Randomly selected winner will receive a $5 ACOT gift certificate from me.

LOVED this challenge!!!  One of the perks of being a teacher is lots of Starbucks gift cards. Today I had a lot of work to do, so grabbed one and headed to Starbucks for a yummy coffee.  This was perfect timing

A quick card. I love the simplicity of this stencil and how it perfectly captures the essence of great coffee aroma. When I went looking for my favorite chocolate glitter paste, I found a dried up jar. I guess I need to pay more attention to my mixed media supplies. But, I did have a jar of Cosmic Shimmer in a neutral color that I doctored up with some deep brown reinker. So, java saved! I hope you have a chance to participate in my FLASH challenge honoring National Coffee Day!

How true about the Starbucks gift cards! For a minute I thought about offering one for this FLASH prize, but thought an ACOT gift card would be more appropriate. I love your journalling and never did know that trick about lining up the lid with the star. I need to try that next time, for maximum experience. Thanks for playing in my silly challenge!
